Whenever I'm listening to this remix, I always go back to your comment. Because it feels so true!! I also miss someone who probably never even exist, and it's so sad and heartbreaking but it's also somehow sweet. Why are humans so complicated.

I’ve felt this before and I’ve felt it for places. In Welsh there is a word called Hiraeth- which is being homesick for a place which you can’t go to which may never have existed. Nostalgia and grieve and yearning.
It completely describes this feeling.
It so hard to describe how these remixes make me feel. I'm relaxed and calm, but something about these are so dark and sinister. It feels like a siren song, pulling me into a trance where I feel like I'm completely safe and content but deep down I know that I'm not quite safe, like things could go so wrong at any second.
It's the pang of reality crushing this conjured-up one. We all love to dream and sometimes we become so immersed in them that we can't differentiate between what's real abd what isn't so when it's time to wake up...it's nothing short of frightening and essentially threatens our safe haven. Dreams are our escape from the worlds we live in, no? Atleast that's how i see it.

The original song is from Pinocchio, which came out in 1940. I can just imagine some little boy or little girl, wishing on a star for the war to end and for their daddy to come home safely... This gentle, hopeful song must've brought some degree of peace or escape to the weary inhabitants of a world at war. Listening to this... might have made you feel like everything was going to be okay, if only for a moment.

Listening to this made me feel like I was bidding farewell to my childhood. I don’t think I was ready. I don’t think you ever truly feel ready to grow up, though. I think it just happens.
Our childhoods never really leave. They're always there...in that part of us that never really grows up the whole way.

@@mohdsyakirin867 - Agghhh, it was so AMAZING! It was such a magical experience, I'd definitely go again. But holy moly are the parks huge. I knew they were gonna be big, but I wasn't expecting them to be *massive.* Since it was my first time going I got hella lost, lol. My favorite park, hands down, was Magic Kingdom followed by Epcot and Animal Kingdom.
The rides over there are more fun, too! Compared to the ones in Disneyland, Disney World's are a lot more thrilling! But yeah, for that one week I was a kid again. I already wanna go back. :P
Wow, did you have a good time? Good thing it wasn't in the summer cuz that's when the parks are the most miserable place on earth. I would know cuz I live in Orlando and always had connections so been to the parks more than once. The sweaty crowds and power-draining heat in the hour long lines, not a happy time.
This reminds me of the last new year’s eve party. Everyone was so happy and they sang this song together. I knew I was in reality but it felt like a dream. When I saw this title of video, I felt like I have to enter into this video and I played...oh my god.This song was that song.. the song everyone sang happily. The fascinating memory fades away.

This reminds me of the first time I went to Disneyland, it had been for my sisters birthday and it was a gift from my dad. My dad passed away when I was 15, just three years ago and since then I’ve been to Disneyland again and every time it makes me so happy. And I like to think it’s because it was such a special experience I shared with my family, with my dad. I always wanted to go again with him since when we first went I was far to small to enjoy any of the exciting rides. But now when I go I just imagine my dad fondly waving goodbye to me when I leave the park. Kind of like he’s joining me even if he isn’t physically there.

I feel like those faraway castles and kingdoms of Disney movies are not so far away when I listen to this. There's definitely something so nostalgic about Disney magic vibes and our childhood. It's like trancing you to sleep and dream.. only for us to find out that we have to move on and come back to our realities. That's why it sounds melancholy at the same time, I think. But it still gives me hope that I have happy memories and thoughts to come back to... it's like beckoning us to come back whenever we are somewhere lost and hurt in the real world, and every time it sounds so beautiful.
The original song alone has the ability to make me tear up, but this version made me feel such a strong sense of nostalgia and longing that I couldn’t help but cry. This is an absolutely gorgeous remix, great job!

Everytime I hear this I think back to myself as a little kid. Growing up he had to endure so much pain and sadness. He wanted nothing more than to feel happiness and joy. Knowing what that gentle hearted little boy had to go through just makes me wish I could go back in time just to give him a big hug and tell him that everything was gonna be alright. And that he wasn't going to be alone anymore.
this makes me feel confident about the uncertainties of the after life. i know i will die but i also know, i'll be fine. i know i'm going to be at peace and people will cultivate my legacy for generations on. i'm greatful for what i've accomplished in this lifetime.

Haven’t you ever had that person that you grew up with and held your hand and told you stories? They were always there to help you get up? As you got older, you didn’t listen to their stories and spent more time with others and didn’t need their help when you fell or hit rock bottom. But they were there and never left. One day that person finally dies and you can’t even remember their name but you remember all the fine memories you shared together. A tear falls from you and that’s all they need to be respected... to me, this is childhood. I’m not even done childhood but I’m done with the stories and I don’t need help. I hope I don’t forget it.
For some reason, a few seconds after i started listening to this i started crying my eyes out. I don’t know why, i wasn’t really feeling sad at the moment. Going back to this in 2024, this is the feeling of missing what Disney used to be; magical and timeless. Even with their less popular or successful movies, they still were part of most people's childhood. Now, *most* of their movies/shows are so focused on quantity over quality that it lost its spark. *cough looking at you Star Wars*

I don't know why, but this whole ethereal style scares me. It feels strangely akin to the concept of eldritch horror. But while eldritch seems to encapsulate deep fears of the unknown corners of the universe, or dark beings with power beyond all belief and possibility, this feels like a fear of the truth. The small things we all go through. Loss. Pain. Doubt. Grief. The things we cannot prevent or avoid, no matter how much we wish. And in my mind that's worse, as it's all so real.
All your music is so inspiring; it brightens up my days -- about everyday. I don't know if it's too bothersome but if you made a version for Pas de Deux for Tchaikovsky I would listen to it endlessly, just like I have with Claire de Lune. Don't stop doing what you do!

Unfortunately, I tried to pass it through the effects...didn't turn out as good as I hoped, I have yet to figure out tweaks to make it sound not muddy, because theres so much notes going on in those Arpeggios. Still figuring it out.

I'm 24 years old and my husband just surprised our two year old daughter and I today with a trip to Disney World next week! Disney has been a huge part of my childhood and I haven't been since I was 16. Picture this: just before the end, a few seconds of every happy memory you’ve ever had in life play out before you fall into your deep slumber.
Never been so hard to sleep with growing pains and broken heart and with this masterpiece, feels like it'll be alright for now on.
It was a chilly fall night, and she stood on her balcony humming the very song her mother used to sing to her.
Her vocals echoed across the destroyed town, sounding more and more distorted each inch they furthered away. But, on that very balcony her voice was as beautiful as ever, so beautiful it attracted all of the other residents of the near abandoned town to the street below her.
All sang and hummed along, and she sang louder and louder until everyone from the city was below her. All sang and hummed louder and louder, attracting more and more, until the night was over. All had left as quick as they came, but she would never forget. When she first started singing, she was singing to her mother. It touched her to know so many heard, surely her mother had too. Though she knew her mother couldn’t be there physically, she’d always be in her heart.
There she stood, sitting under the glowing light of sunrise, still singing to her mother’s lullaby, longing to see the long dead woman once again. She wished upon the last star in the sky that they would meet again- in heaven.

This is what plays during the Disney 100 Year Anniversary experience. It will take us all on a ride through our childhoods, letting us see snippets from each Disney movie. All the Disney characters would wave to the screen with teary eyes as if to say, "Go on, you're all grown up now." Of course, Mickey and Minnie would be by our sides this entire time, walking us out of this tunnel of childhood and into adulthood. They let go of our hands and give us the final good night and that's it.

Somehow this makes me think of a children’s hospice where a parent comforts their terminally ill child, telling them that they’ll be in heaven with all of their favorite cartoon characters and infinite sweets, with the child in their pure innocence, wholeheartedly believing it as they drift out of life on this earth.
When I was younger I would look at the moon the it was just a “rock,” but now I look at the moon different. The soft glow, with the shade of dark white and gray. I imagine myself one day floating up there looking down at earth with a soft smile while a tear tiles down my cheek. Every lover, every child, every criminal, every human soul to ever exist is down there.
The air, the sky, the clouds, and heaven. You can all see it from up there.
I would see all the stars and other planets. But when I wait to go up there. I will always look at the moon. Such a beautiful sight.
