❤ Woo smells delicious 😂 i will try this sauce recipe as i love anything chilli...will have to wait for our upcoming canning season of course!! Have a good one Chelsea. 🇦🇺🦘🐨xx
You’re welcome Karen!! It really does taste exactly like theirs! Especially with the addition of the smoked paprika and red pepper flakes that I add! It makes the best cocktail sauce I’ve ever had when you add horseradish to it!!
Thanks so much for the great recipe...it is now on my list. I can't wait to be able to try the steam canner. It's been out of stock for so long here in Ontario...hoping that after canning season it will be back in stock and will be able to order for next season.💗
It can be used as a condiment, or add some horseradish to it for the best cocktail sauce ever. I like it with meatballs for a sweet and sour sauce also!
@@Our_Urban_Homestead thanks Chelsea! I tried a Local Ketchup that is a gourmet type. I chose the Ghost Pepper one. $8 for a bottle that is about the same you show, for the Chili Sauce! IT IS extremely Mild! I can see turning this Chili Sauce into a True Ghost Pepper Sauce Ketchup!! 😂
Before I canned my own beans, I would buy pork and beans (cheapest they had) and I would rinse the sauce off them and add a jar of Chilie Sauce, bacon, onions and peppers sauteed in the bacon fat that I had added chili powder, garlic salt and pepper, and some Cyanne powder, of course a little brown sugar and let it all slow cook for several hours. Delish - until I started canning and just used my canned beans (no need to rinse), and my cowboy candy syrup in place of the brown sugar. So good. I may try this sauce, so I don't have to buy it anymore. Somehow, I thought it had peppers or horseradish or something bitey in it.
You would think that it would, but looking at the ingredients on the bottle it doesn’t! You could add some cayenne to it you want, that’s why I added red pepper flakes. Adding horseradish to this makes the BEST cocktail sauce ever!!

This is cool! I always wondered what they used in their recipe and now I know! Thanks Chelsea!

I gotta try this!
It’s sooooo good!!!
Great recipe just a little effort for the great taste of making your own. Don't you just love the steamer... such a time saver.
Nice! It’s been all peppers & tomatoes around here lately!!
I am so tired of all the tomatoes LOL
I didn't even plant as many as I usually do , they have been so prolific this year!! Have a great day Audrey!!
You're amazing
Aww- thank you 😊
Curious! I have seen that Chili Sauce. Don't recall ever eating it though. What is it used for?
