The mouse can be stopped by sealing tight wherever the hole is on the underbelly of the scamp. Most common is an open crack somewhere along the axel, tires or suspension since they need something to stand on as they climb into the trailer. As usual, you guys (and friends) are totally awesome.
We will reflect on CV and discuss our plans in an upcoming video. We’re filming every day as the world gets tighter. When this video was filmed there was only one case in Seattle. It’s very confusing. We will not be going to a home base of any kind, the last place we want to be is a city. Take care, everyone. Try to enjoy this time at home!
Good for you guys, yes, stay away for so many reasons! Sadly I'm stuck in Las Vegas for the time being while my little dog is being treated for Valley Fever. Cannot wait to get back out, the neverending blast of this panic by the media makes it very difficult not to fall into the mania. 😰
I love your videos. They have helped me through a very difficult time of anxiety and depression. Keep up the great work. You are truly an amazing couple. The world needs more people like you. I would love to live like this but my health does not permit it. So i live through your videos. Thank you so much. Keep safe and healthy all the best. Xxoo
I would love to see more of your "unintentional ASMR" cooking videos. I love all of your videos but the cooking ones are my favorite...please provide more. 😊
You two have a gift, even the simplest subjects chosen for a video are very enjoyable to watch. Everything about your videos are soothing to the soul. Out in nature, we all dream of, two calm, interesting, nature loving people, good music selections, very good editing, stoking the fire-interesting, fixing a cup of morning tea/healthy elixir-interesting, preparing one of your unique meals-interesting, taking a walk with kamp-interesting, in other words, especially now, just your daily basic routine is a welcomed distraction from what has become scary new reality. Just video your calming surroundings and activities...and thank you.
A mouse, mural, marriage proposal, sea monster, mechanic(s), magnificent mutt, manic driving, and much loved merriness ... my oh my. Re-markable talent. Must have more!
Mice can get through the tiniest hole or slit. I found that packing steel wool in an opening keeps them out, they can't chew through that. Steel wool is available in paint sections of stores.
Very good advice! And if there is no hardware store close by: Scratch pads made from stainless steel wool, e.g. Scotch Brite Steel Wool Scub Pads, found in the household section of any supermarket, , can do the job as well. Additional advantage: they do not rust as usual steel wool tends to do, depending from weather and location.
@@petunialuna4801 ok thanks ... don't remember where to find it in Walmart, I was only once in my life in such a shop and that was almost two decades back... ;-)
I love your videos so much. You’re an incredible story teller Elsa. I always leave having learned something new and feeling so inspired! Thank you for sharing your life!
You can see how much you love Camp by the way he acts. He appears to be so loving and warm. I never thought I would but I love my dogs so much. They bring me so much joy. Give love=get love. No matter the species.
Your sister is beautiful...like you.😊. True story. 3 +1/2 years ago my neighbor found what he said was a tiny baby squirrel at his job (outside somewhere) under a tree. He brought it to me because he's seen me rescue birds nest and put them back in trees, nurse sick kittens and such. I assured him it wasn't a squirrel. It was smaller than my thumb. I didn't want it, my 13 yr old daughter DID. So I fed this tiny thing kitten formula with a tiny paintbrush cuz a dropper was too big! Lizbeth...our white-footed wood mouse lived a long and happy 3 and a half yrs! Who'd a thunk a mouse made such a great pet? Hand raised ones anyway. 😁
I love watching your everyday living, all the scenery along your journey and last but not least your doggie. I can't get enough of the joy of your furry loved one.
Hi. The company has shut down my travel so I’m hunkered down with the family. Your adventures will help ease the cabin fever. Thanks for that. All the best.
You guys are awesome. I love watching your videos. I just sit and drink my coffee, and watch y’all. I love being in Mother Nature. I’m in it all the time. I lived in Seattle for five years. And it’s beautiful on the West coast. I love it there. The mountains are breathtaking. You guys brighten up my day. Many blessings to you.
I sit in an office all day (yes, even with the covid-19 work from home "movement") - wishing I was outside so any video you put up is seriously just giving me life!! Thank you💕
Yes!!!! More Elsa Art please!!!! You’ve definitely become one of my favorite artists, so absolutely yes. Glad y’all got a lil get away, but the mouse problem sucks!!
Just got home (maybe an hour ago) from a 1200 mile 2-day road trip with my boyfriend (From NC to Michigan). I done most the driving& am just now getting to relax since getting home- so I’m super happy to have such awesome content to relax to!
Pickup some peppermint oil from Dollar General and mix with water pour into a spray bottle. Spray inside and outside the camper. The more peppermint oil the stronger the smell. Mice hate peppermint.
I would love to see more recipes, more of your amazing artwork and more Kamp... I have now brought my journal and am working on making me happy, it seems a hard job... you are doing fab!
So glad you guys are back! I love your videos and seeing all of your adventures in the scamp. Elsa your narratives are wonderful and are the highlights of the videos. Keep up the great work. Also, Congratulations to Jake and Fran!

I really enjoy seeing content where you solve real problems all the while showing the lovely sides of living off-grid. It makes the videos seem more honest and informative and more it makes that type of living seem more achievable and realistic to me
Great video. We stayed in that very same house for New Years. We ran out of propane first night (no hot water or fire), the roof leaked in 2 places, and parking sucked with 3 cars. But, the view was amazing and we had a good time.
We come from a huge family of campers, all of them swear by sporadicly placing little chunks of Irish Springs bar soap around the inside of our trailers, especially when we close up for winter. Has always worked so I don’t question my elders tales. I hope that it will help you in your further travels! 😀

Thanks for the videos! You two are genuine and your videos bring much happiness and calm into the world. Elsa, your wall mural is killer! They'll slide in and out easier.

When you can, get under you trailer and caulk around any thing that enters from the bottom. Also caulk any seam of the outside skin. That will stop any mice from getting in. Get some bounce dryer sheets as mice just don't like the smell. Great video. Have a grand day.

Please consider putting pure peppermint on cotton balls in small open containers in your camper when you leave it. Or even in the woods. It can go in a outside storage bin.
