The one trouble is, one date is just not enough to get to know someone. It takes ages to know someone's true personality but if most of the young people on here mainly are deciding on looks I suppose it doesn't matter but when you get older , one day these kids will realise that personality will become far more important.

I’m 21 and went on my first date last year. I feel exactly the same way, and watching these videos don’t make you feel any better about it.
One thing always to remember, is a date isn't an opportunity to impress the other, but an opportunity to learn them. If you think they're cool, great. If not don't feel you have to impress them. First time I met my Mrs we decided to meet in Asda because we both needed to pick up some stuff. People overrate dates. Just chat normally and if you find 3 hours has gone passed without realising, take it further.
Best to go places where people share the same interest. You can both talk about the interest. You talk enough, you usually get an idea if they are a bit sleazy or money hunting or patronising or dim...
You can set up a 'date' hunting for collectibles or books or if you love food, a Devonshire tea crawl - like a pub crawl, or go to a cooking class together or volunteer dog walking and then you always have an excuse for silence or to cover awkward moments.
Far better to know somebody reasonably, in a group, before going on 'me and you' 'dates'
At least so that you aren't going to hear something that shuts you down in first 5 minutes.

So don't jump to conclusions. Firstly about Albert. He is absolutely drop dead gorgeous in MY books (as well as countless others I am sure!) and who's to say he has a criminal record (what a crock of sh*t to just take it for granted that he has been inside and done time!). It wasn't the bad boy persona you feel was so on show with him. For me, he looked down to earth and backed it up with being staunch AF in the way he spoke. I reckon the woman who wins this mad hottie's heart will end up with a down to earth, what you see is what you get, staunch man who, though a little rough round the edges, will be hers and hers alone. I envy that woman. Saying that though, there definitely ARE women who only go for the bad boys and end up getting their hearts broken and being let down. The second guy is completely the opposite to what I'd ever be and probably all to well I know most women will choose him over a nice guy.
