We had a Chevrolet Astro like 20 years ago. It had 3 rows of seats and the 2 back rows could be easily removed/reinstalled in about a minute. This concept is an unnecessarily overcomplicated version of that.
Getting it to stay water-tight, with reliable electrical connections after a decade of use will be the trick.
Or maybe the water seals and electrical connectors can be easily replaceable parts too
