I have never perticually liked this vertion where your just relying on the crab not going over the knot (which it can) Much prefer a standard quick link in there.

Great work and the same way I teach, one of many for sure,

You can install this system from the ground using a thin (paracord) rope and a throw bag. Very usefull skill, maybe you want to show that in a video, too.
I would suggest using pulleys instead of screw gates. Everyone has pulleys on hand and it is even more unlikely that the knot slips through.

I'd agree setting this up from below is very useful and is taught on the course. It's maybe not clear but I use an oval shaped maillon to attach to the rope not a karabiner. The alpine cannot fit through and it is more 'bomb proof' than loading a pulley in a way it's not designed for, although a pulley does work.

Main point was: I have always pulleys on hand but i don't carry any maillons.

If you use a 8 mm diameter false link it will be difficult for the knot to slip with the weight of a technician. He used the fake shirt just to keep it from slipping. The solution with pulleys is good, but if you carry a load of two technicians I recommend that you protect the pulleys with an additional connection for the rope, in case the pulley axes break. While with the 35 KN false links the additional protrusions are not needed and the knot nevertheless hardly slips.

If you have 2 sets of ropes, 2 connectors, & 2 wire sling protectors, why wouldn’t you just set up each rope as its own line? You can still pull down the back side of ropes ( non working side ) once your down on the ground to remove the ropes

Very useful, I also use it in SRT treeclimbing with double descender and 10.5 mm ropes. Also useful for having a rescue system on the tree, after a careful and correct analysis of the working method: better to be safe than sorry.
Thanks for your clarity in the exposition, and the fact of making it chained in continuity makes learning easier.

Always thought it was funny that some guys tie stoppers at the ends of the rope when there's 20 ft of rope laying on the ground XD

If you alway put them in you'll never go off the end of the rope. More than a few people have abseiled off a rope they assumed was long enough so for all the effort it takes it say it's worth it. I see your point though.
