I noticed that the color of the peg is the reason why you named your shamisen ‘Sakura’, Isn’t it? By the way your playing sounds so genuine and sophisticated. I’m a just a Japanese who never played any instruments (but is considering to start playing shamisen or 篠笛 ,kinda our traditional fruit ), but you at least impressed me a lot. Please keep it up and thanks for sharing your music.🌸👍
Good question! Actually, this shamisen was also made with Purpleheart wood, so overall the color was more sakura-colored. :) I'm glad you enjoyed it! I hope you decide to start your shamisen journey as well! ☺

Hi, Can you play tsugaru and jiuta style on this new shamisen?
Certainly! It doesn't conform to classical aesthetic, but it's fine to do so. :)
nice ending at 1:40 :)
