Luffy's secret dream might be to end the world nobles known as the celestial dragons. If we look back to when they were kids, even before Sabo was "killed" the difference in society for commoners and nobles didn't sit well with Luffy. Also the east blue is supposed to be the least important of the 4 seas, with the super tiny windmill island being equally unimportant. The fact that a celestial dragon went there once means that they have probably been there before. The way they act definitely would have been mirrored by the nobles and make Luffy want to change their way of life. It also fits with the whole liberation thing.
Laughtale isn't necessarily where the One Piece is. Laughtale is where the story that made Roger and his crew laugh is. "That place" is where the One Piece is. People only assume that "that place" is Laughtale. Most people don''t even know what the One Piece is, and the people that DO know what it is, are not after it.
I have a theory that luffy will get Roger's disease and chopper will be the one to cure it fulfilling his dream

Luffy's main dream is currently unknown but his secondary dream isn't to be the pirate king as everyone thinks, it's to be the freest man in the world and he thinks that becoming the pirate king will fulfil that dream so that's why he wants to become the pirate king

What I understood from their journey is their dreams are not open for inspection. Akuma nomi are open for inspection because of their nonexistant nature.
I doubt that Luffy's ultimate goal is just share food with everyone in the world (They literally refuse to be that kind of "hero"). It would be basically like Sanji's dream and he reacted like it's crazy idea. For Sanji himself, his dream is constant, he's already cooking and feeding ppl, after finding All Blue he would do the task for entire life. For me also it's way harder yet noble dream while others can fulfill own desires at the end of the trip.
Imagine "Kaizoku ouni ore wa naru!" = is just a side quest for our mc. It should be something that's relevant reaching One Piece. Having fun, partying, laughing with everyone is much more believable version.
