When I was a kid, and I found these videos, I remember thinking how much better Gentaro was because of his technique. Now I really don't appreciate his blatant musical masturbation as much. You can hear little bits of feeling in what he plays, but it's really only when he is filling the space in between his self pleasuring phrases. Takayoshi absolutely smokes him in this duet, if only because his has SO much more emotion. A much more equal duet is the Takayoshi/Syu duet. Syu's musical voice is very different and distinct, but he's undeniably technical on the level of Gentaro.
Ohmura versatility is amazing. I heard rock, southern rock, blues and neo classical all in just this one performance.
Ohmura rules here. Lesser gain, yet more diverse sound.
You killed it guys,,hell yeah🔥🔥

I want to ask..they play spontaneous?
I guess so
なんかロックというよりジャズに聞こえる。ロックの仮面を纏ったジャズ。テクニカルな側面をモチーフにしていくとショーン・レインがそうであったようにジャズに行ってしまうのでしょうね。良い悪いではありません
Gentaro took that L at 360 notes per sec
