This helped a ton! I bought a 1b with defect shutter curtains. Used your tutorial to take it apart and it turnd out to only need some lubrication. I got it working in half an hour. Thanks again!

Oh my god mikeno62 you are one of the best, my father passed away 3 years ago, and I still have his all time Kodak Retinette with the same issue, tomorrow I will give it a try to repair the self timer I broke it when I was about 15 years old, pressing the latch a lot of times until it was stucked, thanks for this video, I thinkis a good try in the memory of my dad, have a really nice merry xmass and a happy new year 2018!!! to you and all your relatives
Thank you for an absolutely excellent video! I have a Retinette 1B that I bought on Ebay because the Retinette 1B was the first camera I owned and I used it for about 20 years. You could depend on the Retinette to give solid pictures. The one I bought now has the same issue as you are fixing in your video and I am going to try and fix it after watching your video about 10 more times :) But the DIN dial is very stiff even if it's not completely stuck. Is there a way to loosen it up at the same time I try to fix the self timer? I know the camera you fixed is a 1A but the lenses seem almost idenical, on the outside at least. Thanks :)
I don't know if you've already resolved your issue, but Chris sherlock here on RUclips has a step by step series on repairing retinas. You could watch his videos. Also he's really good about answering questions put in the comments.

Hello! where do you recommend buying the mini screwdrivers?
thanks, it works now :)
Thanks
If the shutter had the common problem of slow and sticky slow speeds, how would you have proceeded to remove the entire shutter?
I have to work more with the camera to figure that out..

8:03 OH GOD, NOPE. I'm not doing this.
