When talking to people in Leander, north line came across as almost this myth like “it’s coming one day” sort of initiative. We ended up not wanting to bet on it and went with round rock being as it’s in close proximity to domain, the one day north line, Georgetown downtown and it’s own downtown. Crazy amount to do here and around here! Should also be mentioned though, the business presence is very lacking here compared to any of its surrounding suburbs. They’re Facebook pages primary topic of convo is how it feels like nothing but a giant relocation plot. Homes popping up on every square foot but nothing really to do. Big upside we’ll miss there is being close to the lake and hills
I thought you were going to talk about reasons why not to move to Leander... "If you dont like being entertained with establishments like the Domain, dont move to Leander" "If you dont like access to convenient transportation like a light rail, dont move to Leander." "If you're anti social and a loser homebody that never leaves your room, dont move to Leander." "If you dont want a good quality of life, dont move to Leander." I like the reverse psychology 😄😄😄
Fellas, the point of the title is to create awareness or an alert to folks that don't like very populated locations, mainly. Sadly I don't live in the US and I would have loved to see the grownth of this city. Nice work point out the perks of the planning for this city.
Don't listen to her.. live here now 19 yrs.. one of the best PD's in Texas... taxes are low for area.. lies on housing .. land justs costs more for prime land... house values are sky rocking invest now
There is not enough water for any of these new proposed builds, much less Leander Springs! Trucks have been coming in our community everyday hauling out our water to provide to the city of Leander.
Just moved to Leander 2 years ago. Love living here, our neighborhood just opposite with North Line development . I am so excited for all the fun stuff, I knew it will be busy traffics but still it would be fun and super convenient for us. Our close friends also moved to Leander, too.

Thank you for this video. Looking to move to Texas from N. Cal this year. We are a conservative family and feel out of place here. How are schools and mask mandates? Thank you.
I know you asked this question a few months ago, but there are pretty much no masks to be seen in Austin now. I feel like maybe 1/100 people wears a mask. No mask mandates in schools.
I Looooove Frisco. I drive out there for the hell of it all the time. Just site seeing, day dreaming, wishing I lived and had that type of beautiful living and I stay way in Fort Worth.
Definitely growing crazy fast and big corporations leaving other states setting up Head quarters there and just in Texas period. Hate how it’s starting to get crowded here now in Texas.
Ma'am - you don't know what you're talking about. When you get to Austin, the traffic is horrible. So, Leander, Cedar Park and Georgetown are full of shopping, Starbucks, a lake and much more. Some chose to stay out of Austin, it's democrat and becoming dangerous due to de-funding our police department and oh yes, Sanctuary City. ENJOY.
Moving here in 3 weeks with my little family of 4 and everything in this video has me more excited about it!
Where did you move from
We moved out to Leander back in 1995. I am very fortunate to have grown up here. Luckily, I’m raising my children here too. Thank you for this video.

Yes, North Line is going to take a while to come to fruition. I like Round Rock for its proximity to Georgetown and The Square.

Bummer that city planners jam everyone so close to each other.
Awesome video, Can you please make a video for Hutto as well. Specially Brooksland @Hutto.

That’s one of the big concerns from residents.
Not me listening to this while living in my Leander apt 😂😂
Great video
Traffic is gonna suck.
It took me like 2min to realize the satire 😂
Great video, would move here. Mostly cause you told me not to.

If I were to rent for a year and then buy. Would I be able to beat the skyrocket in prices?
It's pretty dangerous to wait considering how the market is constantly changing, and prices are definitely not going anywhere but up.
Thank you miss rise n shine
Thank you for watching!
i live here not bad from what i seen
Thank you!
Leander like Leander Vander Esch from the Dallas Cowboys
I want a slower way of life so where should I move
I like bastrop, dripping springs, wimberley, Lockhart.

In schools we pledge allegiance to thee Texas one State under God.

Leander could end up looking for like Frisco which is a north suburb of Dallas.

Can I buy a house around $200.000 in Leander?
Sure could.......Before the Californians began moving to TX!
Sadly, no. Those times are over. It's hard to find something decent under $400k right now.
Try Oklahoma Humberto!
How about Amarillo and el paso
Murder cornfield sounds delightful! I'm there!
Who wouldn’t be excited for these type of things
Traffic is he.. already. Time to expand Ronald Reagan.
Thanks Californians!!!
