I used to think train spotting was a bit sad, until I found myself filming Metro trains arriving in stations in Barcelona well on holiday, and also thinking, well if its sad? Why do I like trains and wave at them? and also I go Emergency vehicle spotting, which some other people may think is sad.

Then again, train spotting in the Americas is much fun then it is in Britain.
Because a lot of trains in the Americas have a classic look to them, especially the diesel ones, and the horns make it so epic!

@bloodypandahachiroku Fine, then, I won't tell you, haha. No, the wake from the train knocked it down flat on the tie I lay it on and it survived. It was actually my $500 phone's camera.

As long as there was always enough daylight, it would have been good for each train shot to have been done with a Zoom Q2HD handy audio and video recorder, with the built in mic gain level turned up to -6 to prevent audio distortion.
