    Thank you for posting, but, I noticed in the hosting of this editor, she mentioned the Afrikans did not know of "mami wata" until the Europeans introduced "mermaids" to them, In my opinion, this is another way of European culture, claiming something that is not their own......destructive and dominearing people......This worship is from Afrika, as all the other ways of life and religion, plagiarized by Europeans.

    The exhibit was fantastic and moving. It is worthwhile to get the book that Prof. Drewal did. A very respectful person, a friend.
