- RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif., Sept. 10 (KNN) - The Airport Fire burned around the California Conservation Corps Los Pinos Center around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
At this time, there is no report on the condition of the CCC Los Pinos Center. Numerous fire resources were in the Los Pinos Center for structure protection as the fire impacted.

That video really shows the fire to be what it is... a dragon! That flame leaping so high out of the billowing smoke, and the sound of the wind, all of it dwarfing the humans and their little buildings and vehicles. Very dramatic and frightening view of the fire.

Ikr. During the clowns' term, their funding was hacked apart and instead of being used to mitigate such disasters was used to subsidize religious schools and line the pockets of Koch and friends. The workers should be investigated . Were they following protocol for work in high fire danger areas, eg fire suppression equipment at the ready and fire watchers? Or can they be totally negligent and get away with irresponsible actions with no recourse?
