All my pastes are quite thick and opaque. Only a couple are transparent (and listed as such). Different brand though. If mine get too thick to stir, I pop it in a resealable bag and sit in warm water for a few minutes. 🇦🇺💚

I was expecting these to be opaque. Nothing on the bottle to indicate they wouldn't be. Oh well... will make the best of it. Thanks for the suggestion on warming them up for easy stir ability.

Pastes come in both transparent colors and opaque colors they also have different consistencies due to the type of pigment they also come in top and base cell which are also different consistencies. As for them being thick you can sit them in a bowl of hot water for 5 mins and it will thin them down for you to stir easier. Now the Baltic day brand... Awful stuff.. just awful.. I wasted my money on a set of their pigment pastes and powders and I don't like or use either 😂

@@nmbbeingintentionallycreative 🤣😂 I have an idea for them!! Pass them off to a beginner just learning to practice with 😂 I'll never use them myself 😂 artist till death has the best of the best when it comes to pigment pastes but my heart belongs to colourarte products and I'm so sad they are closing down in October 😢 they have truly magical products no one else has almost everything she offers is the only type of that product in the world.. I'm always pushing ppl to try them and have yet to have anyone be disappointed! Fabulous stuff!! Glad I made you laugh that means you get the struggle 😂

@@cwv-artistry - i have never heard of artist till death, curious, have you tried products by eye candy. I really like them, may be an option to replace the company closing down in october

@@nmbbeingintentionallycreative eye candy is great they really are, but they are simply spray painted mica flakes sold in bulk from china like most pigment companies. Colourarte carries the only dry paint system in the world for resin and acrylic artists they are the most beautiful products I've ever encountered.. but I do have some eye candy products and they are really good. You should definitely look up artist till deaths channel and storefront she has some really amazing products and does beautiful work as well.. thank you for recommending eye candy though they are ran by fantastic people from what I understand and I will have to move forward since colourarte is closing 😢 it's just breaking my heart because it is such a great company and the products are spectacular...

I bought some of the Baltic and most were dried up or gummy. I tried putting the bottles in warm water but it didnt help.

I will use what I have but I won't be buying anymore. As much as I am not keen on them, at least now I know.
