His moves actually sharpened over time... the popping and locking and robot moves get better and better over the years. Im amazed at how his dancing became so much more technical over time.
the first couple of moonwalks like the Motown 25 one were pretty mediocre. they weren't nearly as smooth and didn't show off the illusion well. I'm mad he messed that one up cuz that was supposed to be the breakout moment, especially when he didn't land on his toes longer after the spin
97-99 was Wild AF. The 1999 video in particular that was right before the accident when the Cherry picker fell during Earth Song he injured his back he was killing it incorporating newer illustrations
I just feel devastated at the loss of Michael...I find him totally mesmerising to watch . He is totally absorbed in the music feeling every move... his beautiful smile lifts even the worst of days.. such a loss ... this sad selfish world definitely did not deserve him.. love and miss you beyond words Michael xx
87 was a slower rehash of 84 with the beginnings of some new moves that became much better later on while 88 was a sloppier version of the Dangerous Tour for the most part. I wish they included Buenos Aires, MTV Awards and Kuala Lumpur though. Brunei and Munich were poor choices.
In the early years he seemed more wild & all over the place but in a great way. By the history tour his moves to me seemed to be more precise and fine cut.
His dancing is amazing but the best and most of genius moment always happen when he's just messing around, being himself and responding to the music freely. This moments are unmatched ❤️👑🐐
Can y'all please make a video about the origin and inspiration of MJ's sound effects? Like when he started using hehe, shamone, aow, hoo, etc. What inspired him to start doing that? Just focusing on his iconic and signature sounds/ grunts/ yells. Thank you and God bless.
the grunts are all percussive sounds, meant to add to the rhythm. michael didn’t know how to play instruments, but knew how to emulate a drum and bass through beatboxing. he would create his drum parts by beat boxing into a tape recorder, and would add melody by singing over it. the “chika chicka” sounds like the percussive sound of hitting a muted guitar string etc. just vocalizing the sounds of music he heard in his head
@@crazycat4869 there was once a court case against michael for plagiarism for a song. mike was known for carefully and meticulously archiving his recordings and showed up to court with a demo tape of him beat boxing the rhythm for the production crew to work reference off of. michael then beatboxed it himself and sang over his instrumental in front if the court. the case was then thrown out. you can find so many videos of michael beat boxing, and obvious cases of him making percussive sounds in his recordings.
Immeasurable stamina, strength, and dedication on every project forever to be honoured and treasure. Truly Michael is a remarkable phenomenal gifted kind-hearted human being and humanitarian charitable champion and ongoing. Love always with you. We are always with you. May God continue to bless your beautiful soul. Thank you for this.
Victory Tour was peak Michael Jackson. In all facets. The freedom in his moves, the soul in his voice, and the energy of the shows was unmatched. Jackson literally RULED the world in '84.
And the craziest thing to even say...he doesn't even need these flawless dance moves...he can pick out any dance he wants and you still can't touch him...might sound like bs ...but I guarantee it's 💯 percent true
Sherron Davis because you said the reason why they didn't use any dangerous tour was because of the yellow leotard but MJ doesn't wear the leotard in Billie jean. Also the leotard growed on me and I actually like it 😁
@@Toxiclegend-hl4wg It was a golden fencing suit. You know, fencing, the bendy thin sword stabbing sport. Also it reminded me of something from star wars. Futuristic and cool.
So cool how he uses his jacket and tie for moves ,hat, sparkly socks , glove and tie shoes to do moves with . You could tell when he wore that gold robot suite he was restricted in his movements . I seen him dance to no music and that was the best one , the one where he was like heeee heeee Shamon
I have seen some folk comparing Chris Brown to Michael Jackson which I find completely laughable. No disrespect for Chris Breezy but comparing him to MJ is absolutely incommensurable. Even in his demise, MJ will always reign supreme when it comes to entertainment. Just like 2pac!!! 👍🔥 👊🔥
Chris is not even a great MJ impersonator and not even close to being as fluid. When it comes to smoothness off dancing, I think Usher and Omarion are the only ones behind MJ. And even then they aren’t close.

*The ones from 87/88 were sons of his best. I’m surprised they aren’t on here*
I disagree. 88 was too fast and a bit messy compared to the more honed history era. But it's just an opinion obviously

THIS MAN WAS THE BEST PERFORMER!!! I loved seeing him break down Billie Jean!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
No surprise why he's the KING OF POP. ✌👏
You can tell he practiced all the time. Down to the way his mouth moved lmfao
That was more like an expression. Dancers do that when they are "in the zone"

howls have been incorporated in blues since forever, michael prob just added his own flair. the expression of vowels is also very pleasing for the ear
the grunts are all percussive sounds, meant to add to the rhythm. michael didn’t know how to play instruments, but knew how to emulate a drum and bass through beatboxing. he would create his drum parts by beat boxing into a tape recorder, and would add melody by singing over it. the “chika chicka” sounds like the percussive sound of hitting a muted guitar string etc. just vocalizing the sounds of music he heard in his head

Goodness gracious the popping moves and the neck and head angle perfection is insane in 1996

Goddamn the swagger is on another level!
Even in the later years of his life he still entertained his fans til 50
That 1999 and 1984 ones looked super fun
Wow, that last one was freakin SICK! That walking/spin thing he does is really cool. It's exactly how he does it in the Moonwalker video game.
Living Legend right there
@4:00 I seriously thought he broke his spine for a second
Great vid!
It gets better and better over the years. but even the first performances were the best❤️

One man and a spotlight. These kids could never.
The billie jean freestyle was the best part of his concerts
Nice. It’s not on here but 1987 in Yokohama was probably my favorite Billie Jean performance that I have seen.

Why don’t you have anything from The Dangerous Tour?
@Ron Davis that yellow outfit wasn’t horrible! And Michael didn’t wear it during “Billie Jean” lol
