    This is really cool. Thanks for breaking it down so clearly. I loved hearing about the history of how Palm Spring became such a destination. The part about the dry climate helping people with tuberculosis is so interesting!

    Thank you for the history lesson. I am using the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Reservation as a location in a story I am writing.

    I'm so happy for the Cahuilla Band. When I was a small child we would drive past the Reservation. There wasn't much to see. Trailers against the mountains...then came the first Casino. Little by little things grew into a huge casino and later the Spa and casino in Palm Springs proper. The businesses, educational scholarships and lovely tree canopy of homes and businesses that they show here.
