There is a way to eject the dummy key though. You have to turn it to the left the furthest you can go (without excessive strength of course) and hold it there for about 10 seconds, then you hear a click and you can take it right out! If you want to put it back in you just insert it again. P.S. I really enjoy watching your video's keep up the work!
I'm debating on the Alcantara package. How do you like it versus the leather in your previous 911. I've heard mixed things about keeping the seats clean and long term durability.
R Curry I really like the Alcantara package. It makes the interior look and feel more special than the all leather surfaces in my previous 911. I must note that my Sport Design steering wheel is leather, not Alcantara. The wheel will get the most wear, i figure. (I have wondered if the leather wheel was a mistake. I think Alcantara feels nice to the touch.) The interesting thing about Alcantara on the seats is that it locks you in. Makes you feel a part of the car. It's grippier. So when you get going hard, you are one with the seat. As far as long term wear, it is too early for me to say how the Alcantara will perform. But with almost 3,000 miles on the car at this point, it still looks brand new.
@anderson c thanks for the comment about sound. Point well taken. As you can tell, I am new at this. My later video is better in this regard. Check this one out: ruclips.net/video/dwEncO-IfCY/видео.html
The generation of GTS I have was on sale for model years 2015 and 2016. We are currently in model year 2017 and they are not being built. But there are spy shots and rumors of a new GTS in development.
Just to let you know, I don't think you're missing out on a lot. I've got the Burmeister, and it sucks balls. Absolutely appalling, when compared to other audio systems.
Vitaly Kutuzov Wow, I am surprised. The Burmeister is such a pricey option. That's too bad. But you know what, sometimes I don't even turn the system on because I love listening to the engine.
Joe Hutchinson Exactly, and it was a total waste of money, because it sucks... I also have a 2015 Lexus IS300h with Mark Levinson- now, that's a system to beat, because it's simply amazing. And yes, the engine is amazing. I love opening the roof, switching the exhaust "on" opening all the windows and going for a nice ride with some music. Anyway, you made a good choice by not getting the Burmeister option!

Beautiful car love the GTS!!!
Beautiful car! Congrats.
I love the alcantara on yours. I went all black leather with carbon fiber, I wish I had more red accents though.
Wikuster wilkus Thanks. I do like the added red accents. But I am sure your interior is going to look great with black and carbon fiber.

Joe. Given it’s now 2020, would you buy a more current S (2019/2020) or still the older GTS? The new S has about 440hp.
thank for your video it was very helpful ..:)
You need to turn up the volume for your vocals. To the same level of your music and the sound of your car engine/exhaust. Barely hear you speaking.

Vitaly Kutuzov Thanks for the info on the Burmeister. I was wondering about it as you heard me say. Sorry about your purchase though. That sucks.
Joe Hutchinson No worries! :) Well, I hope it will make the car easier to sell.
Good luck with the car!
