Awe. This was a really good scene. The woman who played Kelly's mother did a really good job. It is a sad scene and helps you to understand why Kelly's character was the way that she was in a sense. It's pretty heartbreaking. I don't recall seeing this scene on the before.
Brenda didn't appreciated at first how lucky she was having normal parents who loved each other. Kelly and Dylan were so screwed up because of their terrible family lives. At least Steve's mother tried to be present and did so when he needed help.
This is what most people writing judgemental comments fail to understand. Messed up people are children of messed up parents. Brenda had a fairly normal and supportive family. Her relationship with Dylan would have never worked out unless he had realised that he was messed up and decided to do something about it.
She played Siobhan Ryan (#2) on the Ryan's Hope soap opera in 1981. Those full episodes of that season with her on (with her beautiful longer hair ) are online now. Just search here. It's crazy how much Jennie Garth looked like her especially in Anne's younger years. Episodes "RH 1431" and onwards.
Also why her character had to stab Brenda in the back. She wanted Brenda’s life of normal loving parents. But she thought by hurting Brenda and going after her boyfriend and her audition she would be Brenda or be like Brenda. When you really think about it, Kelly was the original single white female.
Poor Kelly her mum was an addict who neglected her and her dad constantly let her down and didn’t show up for her, no wonder she had a warped view of relationships
Does anyone remember if there's ever an intervention with several people involved? I remember a scene with a daughter confronting a mother about her alcoholism, with other people there, and in my mind she looks a lot like Kelly. I can't seem to find that scene, though, so maybe it's not this show? I found the clip where she says she needs a mother and not a best friend, and I know others come in the room afterwards. But the scene I remember has several people there as it happens, and the daughter is crying. I guess if all else fails I'll have to look up episode recaps.
...ha-HAAAA!! ..I was gonna edit my comment to ADD that, but ya beat me TO it! ...we did NOT have something like that back in the Early 90's, what were they THINKING!???
@@RBS_ Lol! Glad someone else thought it was as funny and weird as I did! Maybe some day someone will reply to my comment and they'll be able to tell us what in the world that thing is!
They cut out the snorting coke scene, I clearly recall. Not sure they censor this stuff all the time I hate this censoring we aren’t getting real information. Imagine on national TV they showed coke snorting so many times, Jackie is not only alcoholic she’s an addict also.
A mom with a history of substance abuse killing an entire bottle of vodka over some guy, the night before an important commitment she made to her daughter, is NOT handling it well. Kelly has no choice but to be the adult in the house.

I remember her mom used to drive me crazy. I thought she was so annoying and a bad actress. But now I understand that is bc she was a good actress.
I guess you didnt know the concept of acting
Ann gillespie was awesome shes a pastor now

This episode was where I respected Kelly and why her character was all about fun. It was her escape.

I feel bad for Kelly.
No kid should suffer dealing with a parent doing drugs and alcohol
I always thought Kelly’s house looked too modern and cold and somehow reminded me of a space ship. Steve’s one too.
It looks really fancy from the outside but the kitchen looks pretty dull. Strange.
90s chic
...(2:01) ...Jackie, how DARE you mimic ME! ...ha-HAAA!!
Wish I had those awesome pink slouch socks that Kelly took off! Those socks are great!
Epic performance!
They cut out there part where she snorts coke. Poor Kelly! 😢
We never saw this beautifull Dog again...im sure prefer Animals over humans always by far
Poor girl!!!
Sad that Kelly had to crawl through the doggy door to get into her own house.
Always loved this house ❤
i loved jackie. so sad they made her die (with kelly hating her again) in the new 90210
Ann Gillespie had quit acting (to be a minister!) so that was a way they could have her on without too much disruption to her life.
Love this scene

0:28 lol poor Kelly
Address of this house ?
Someone please tell me what that weird telephone/keyboard/screen is in the background?! I've got to know what that odd contraption is!

I’m guessing something that was put in in the early 80s, that Bill might have used but Jackie never did.
Un videocitofono. Sta do a letto poteva vedere chi aveva suonato e aprire.
i liked that episode when i was a child
Kelly's moms yoga pants are funny. Like remember Kelly's putfit with the blue and orange yoga pants and shorts.
Man - 90s architecture!
0:24 He.. Kelly "But Was The Only Way 🏡
Jacky was in this “poor pity” me thing😒
Tired? Sure.
I'm living😂❤
0:25 Ha.. "But Was The Only One Way 🏡🌅
That house was so strange. Jackie had a kitchen in her bedroom.
This episode when Kelly's mom is drunk and thier gonna be late for the fashion show but what is going on Kelly's mom
2:01 What is that screen and keyboard behind her.... I feel that's too modern even for1991
is it that easy to go thru a dog door? Dont burglars sneak in?
Would you call through such a big dog door? think about the size of the dog that goes through that door. Would you want to run into it by accident?
U know what saved her IRL!! Jesus, she's a nun in think now!!
Sometimes they over loved her that’s annoying
I didn't remember the beautiful ass on Kelly...
Poor Kelly....
So u break up with a man and your life is over? Please
As if the man was your whole life😅
She was an alcoholic. It was an “excuse” to drink.

It wasn’t really about the breakup.
Nahhh I can't feel bad for Kelly after the Brenda and Dylan situation
So toxic
Kelly's mom shouldn't have become a alcoholic
Dylan should have taken her to a meeting,.
@@scottwood928 Dylan wasn't around
@@dylonrasco it was a joke
She already was at this point. Nobody "should, " but yet they do. That's life.
ended a relationship?! She’s handling it well IMO Kelly’s a nag.

Hmmmmmm.
Kelly cares for her mom and wants her to get sober, permanently!
