- Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu/ramechhap to Lukla (Flight) to Phakding (Phakding - 2,651 m / 8,697 ft - 4 hrs )
Day 2: Phakding to Namche (Namche - 3,440 m / 11,286 ft - 5 to 6 hrs)
Day 3: Acclimatization Day in Namche (Namche - 3,700 m / 12,139 ft - 4 to 5 hrs)
Day 4: Namche to Tengboche (Tengboche - 3,956 m / 12,979 ft - 5 to 6 hrs)
Day 5: Tengboche to Dingboche (Dingboche - 4,380 m / 14,370 ft - 4 to 5 hrs.)
Day 6: Dingboche to Lobuche (Lobuche - 4,938 m / 16,200 ft - 4 to 5 hrs)
Day 7: Lobuche to EBC (5,362 m/17,598ft, Via and Back to Gorakshep (Gorakshep - 5160 m / 16929 ft -
6 to 7 hrs)
Day 8: Climb to Kalapatthar(5,545m/ 18,192ft and descending to Pheriche(4,280m/14,042ft)
Day 9: Pheriche to Namche (Namche - 3,440 m / 11,286 ft - 6 to 7 hrs)
Day 10: Namche to Lukla (Lukla - 2,860 m / 9,383 ft -7 hr)
Day 11: Lukla to Kathmandu (Flight) Kathmandu - 30 min
Things to know :
1.Planning and arranging the trek yourself is far more better than contacting some shitty travel company(Mount fishtail in out case).The guide was very inexperienced and had not much ideas about the hotel and routes! He did not have any first aid in case of emergency and was very irresponsible(alcohol consumption)during the trek.
He also did not have our return ticket at the end,although we reminded him time to time during the trek about the return ticket..he replied he had managed.
At the end we had to stay in lukla ,had no idea how we were gonna go back,we literally begged every officers and the airlines crew for the ticket and managed our tickets on our own, the travel company (MOUNT FISHTAIL) promised to refund the money of our tickets but its been month and we are being ignored.
So please!! Make sure u get the return tickets before u fly to lukla! And yes , foreigners are given high priority there for very ovious reason; they pay more by the airlines.
2.Acclimatization is the most!!
3.Drink lots of water and carry water purifying tablets.
4.Recheck your essentials at namche bazaar.Make sure to explore multiple shops before purchasing,coz i experienced a hugh price difference.
And Do not pollute the environment🙌🏻

We paid 64k to the travel company that included food/tickets/lodging.But,we had to pay a lot on drinking water hot/cold and some medicines on the way.so overall i would say ,100k overall including emergency funds!!! Is sufficient.
And Do not pollute the environment🙌🏻
