It's been a while, that's true. I kinda lost my motivation for everything incl. recording videos. But I try do record more now ;) Next cover is already done ;) I bought this guitar in September 2015 I think and I already did 2 Amon Amarth covers from Jomsviking with it ;)

Hey man i have a question about 7 strings. I can only read tabs so idk scales and all that stuff. But i wanted to ask you because your playing Amon Amarth and that's what i like to play on the 6 string. I seen your cover way back for War Of The Gods. The main question i have is do i play the 7 string for that song the same way as i would on a 6 string. Or would the string layout for the tab be way different if that makes sense. 6 string is BEADF#B and 7 string is B-E-A-D-G-B-E they added a G and E in there so i would assume playing the solo and shit would be scaled way different or could i just play it like i did on the 6 string. Anyway hope that makes sense and thanks a ton for your help love your videos been around for a while now !
Hey. Yes, I know what you mean. I asked myself the same questions before I got the 7 string. I can only read tabs as well. You can play almost like the same like on the 6-string. As you mentioned you got an additional high E-string and the F# is now a G so you have to know that you have to play the notes on the G-string one fret lower as you would play it on the F# on 6-strings. That's all! ;)

Yes, I use Guitar Rig 5. I use the Metalcore-Preset and changed the EQ just a little bit ;)
