You have build up really great relationship with one Porsche dealer, and they probably give you a chance to buy one with crazy money above the MSRP. That's why 991 GT3 RS is selling around $350K now, even the used one. And 911R is even crazier, sold one with $700K recently at SoCal.
cars of this magnitude are not typical showroom purchases. when they are used you may find them in showrooms, sometimes a dealer will have a special car for sale from the get go but in general they are all offered to actual customers first.
