THANK YOU SO MUCH! Took 5 minutes to open the panel. 30 seconds to snip a 1/2" off the hose and that fixed it. (The panel had never been opened, so it took a lot of upward pull to pop it open... I was afraid I was going to break something.)

Thanks theapplianceman. I fixed my washer by trimming the hose on that pressure sensor. I guess it needed a better fit after 10 years.

I have a Kenmore 90 Series washer. After completing one load of wash I started a second. The tub filled with water, agaited then stopped. No matter what setting I put it in nothing happens. No humming, nothing. Another Kenmore 90 series washer was given to me. It agitated but no spin. After checking it out it was only a loose wire. Plugged it in & it went through the cycles. Put a load of cloths in & the only cycle that will now work is the spin. Any help on either one of these would be appreciated. I did notice same series but different timer control model.

I fixed my washer by just cutting half an inch of the clear hose. Many thanks for that video. I' d buy you a beer !

I’m having issues with this same washer. It doesn’t fill with water. But when I advance the timer to spin cycle, it works on spin cycle only. I’ve replaced the temperature switch, cut the hose like in this video, replaced the lid switch and tested the water inlet valve with a multiple meter which I believe is giving out the right voltage. I’m stumped! Any help or advise please? Thanks

Many thanks - voltages were not 125v. Got a used part at Warren Electric in longmont for $15. Up and running in two hours from point of watching video.

I cut 1/2 inch off the clear hose it worked great
I seem to be having this problem also today. My whirlpool washer is 15 years old. I assume it would make more sense to just buy a new washer at this point? How much would the sensor cost? Thank you.

@@theapplianceman The whirlpool number I believe is W10140920 D and the sensor number is W10248240. I took your advice and cut the hose and things almost seem like they are working again but not exactly. For some reason it stops in the cycle and I have to press on the cover and then it will start again. I'm not sure what that means other than there must be a disconnect somewhere. Thank you for your channel, I am learning so much.

that sound like the door switch is not making good contact. Try this put something heavy on top of the door and try it to see if it goes thru the complete cycle . Send me a picture of the tag with the model number on it I can't get anything with the number you send me
@@theapplianceman I can't find the model number anywhere, I thought that was it. But I think you are completely correct about the lid switch. I jiggled the lid around and slammed the door down and it went through a complete cycle perfectly. I think I have corrected it for the moment with your help. Thank you very much.
I have this same washer. It will not allow any hot or cold water to fill. I have the water turned on to the washer. ( The washer spins when the timer is turned to Spin.) It will not fill with water , why? Thank you
These washers they change to auto load switches instead of water level switches and they could be a pain to fix. Most of the times is the auto load switch but I cant tell you for sure, they are expensive and may not last. Check on youtube with the model number to see if someone have a better answer to your problem.
