I miss horror movies that put effort into character development like this one does. When you start to feel like you know the people being portrayed, you feel invested in the story, which makes you actually care about the outcome of events unfolding. If it’s not done just right, it ruins the whole experience.
Character development is a lost art in today's movies, I figure, they think we know who the actor is, so why tell you again who they are in "this" movie, because they all seem to play the same roll
@dansweda712 I think you’re right. But there’s something else about modern movies that seems less realistic and I can’t quite put my finger on it. It’s like reading an action comic, the way that they put so much emphasis on the cinematography to convey emotion, rather than emotion coming from the actors/actresses themselves.
The fact that this film has Miguel Ferrer doing what he does best makes it very worth the watch even in the first 10 minutes. haHaha, I miss that guy! Legendary hot head!

I was like f-f-ffuck, dude!!!
Were we watching the same movie? This was awful.
@@blakeborges6753 I am sure we were, take it for what it was a B movie with a poor writer. the acting was good, director did a good job with what he had.

Here's a rephrased version of your comment:
I recently re-watched this movie and was blown away by the gripping stories from Stephen King. While I have my own personal favorites, this one had slipped my mind, and I was pleasantly surprised to revisit it. I think a remake would be a great idea - Hollywood could really benefit from bringing this classic to life again.
I watched this with my Grandpa when I was a kid. I've been looking for it for years couldn't remember the name. Thanks for this!
Such a banger!!! I read the short story years ago and never realized they made a movie. It’s a better king adaptation so I wonder why it ain’t get no love🤔
Watching in 2024 🎉
Me too sweetie I really like your Vybz 💯💞💐🥰
I remember this movie. Great one!
I've thought I seen all "KING'S" movies but this movie was was a thumps up.
Way better than I've been expecting
The actor made it happen
It's a great one.
I've seen this for the first time. I like the concept of a vampire-bat-person who enjoys and prefers driving a plane, than teleporting or flying itself. There is something relative and human about that.
I love Steven King, great movie
