yes
DEI has DIED.
Yes, yesterday
The Los Angeles Fire Department Chief summed up the Progressive mindset when she elaborated on her “three-year strategic plan to increase diversity”, “People ask me, “Well, what number are your looking for? I say, ‘I’m not looking for a number, it’s never enough.’”
Any society that we want to function properly has to be merit-based. Whichever metrics we value can be quantified.
He got that right. No end to what are protected categories.
Every election season, new castes are defined as protected, in India.
It is ridiculous this has caught on in America. I thought I'd escaped this by leaving India!
Yes, all government DEI programs should be abolished. They are discriminatory. Private ones must not be outlawed. They have a right to do stupid things. But shareholders should oppose them, and customers should boycott companies with DEI programs.
As a white straighg male the way I have been treated and portraited in the past several years, makes me think rac ism is ok
Yes Canada has a law that supports discrimination called the Human Rights Act. Every province has it. Sky is the limit.
Which is why many are dumping this crapola.
In Canada discrimination is legal and part of every province under the Human Rights Act. This law is appalling. So what happened to Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms? These contradict.
Using merit-based hiring practices cuts through the Gordian knot of diversity considerations.
All the metrics used by DEI such as race, ethnicity, gender and even sexual preference were protected under the “privacy act” making it illegal to ask therefore MERIT was essential for hiring - D E I is DISCRIMINATORY
I like Mark but for god sake that guy needs to slow down and let his mouth catch up to his brain. Sheeeeesh.
