  • PCGS Unboxing #3 - "Blinging Benji's" from 1 Roll at a Time Submission Reveal!!! 32 Graded Coins!!!
    It's PCGS unboxing time! In this video, we open and check out the grades from 1 Roll at a Time's "Blinging Benji's" that I submitted for him. While I am familiar with the submission process I do not know much about how coins are graded at the major certification businesses. Places like PCGS, NGC, and others offer this service as a way to get a qualified and professional value on condition and grade. I have some idea where they will end up on the scale of 1-70 but I rely on them to make the final call.
    As with many grade reveals I have seen on RUclips, most of the time you get a few that grade higher than you though, a few that grade at the level you though, and a few that get disappointing grades. At the end of the day you have to take the good with the bad and ugly. This is PCGS's OPINION and you are paying for that and their reputation. I believe them to be the most consistent and fairest of the coin grading companies and it is who I use for all of my submissions.
    Please leave a comment below and tell me what you think of the grades I received and if you agree with them or not!

    Very beautiful coins but the information of the submission is fantastic. I subscribed because I like that "1 roll at a time " does box battles with his daughter.

    AWESOME JOB ECC!!! We did very well. 7 FBL when we only submitted one. Will take that. Just like you I was hoping to see a 65. Very happy with the end results. Awesome job on both videos. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Have a great day. PS: Not sure what happen to the first comment, and I have received a few comments on my channel, but for some reason I can't reply.

      THANK YOU for allowing me the privilege of submitting these for you and documenting the process!!! 7 FBL was totally unexpected and we will take it for sure! You should do a video or livestream showing off these coins on your channel if you feel like it - I know I would watch it. Not sure what’s going on so you can’t reply to those comments, maybe RUclips is having a bad day?

    WOW! I think the extra Full Bell Lines make up for the 2 not gradable ones

    Yeah i recently learned about wheel marks, but idk why they won't grade it. Maybe it effects the coin over time? Idk lol

      Could be that counterfeiters could use them to distract from a fake coin?

    You acted surprised that you received an FBL designation on more than 1 of your coins! That's part of their job as a grader to look for superlative coins! Like looking at a Standing Liberty Quarter without checking for a full head! They look at EVERYTHING!

    Awesome video. Came over to check this out from 1Roll yesterday. How much does it cost you per coin to submit? I’ve always wanted to submit some coins but costs always seemed prohibitive.

    • @EnigmaCoinCollector
      @EnigmaCoinCollector  2 года назад +1

      It depends on how fast you want them to process it. 1 Roll opted for economy level which is 50 business days for $22 per coin. You can get regular or express service for faster but it costs way more.

      @@EnigmaCoinCollector so a lot of the profit on those coins is pretty eaten up then? Still cool to get them graded and put in a holder.

    • @EnigmaCoinCollector
      @EnigmaCoinCollector  2 года назад +1

      @@GASilverHunter Yes, not a lot of money to be made unless you find coins worth more but still it is nice to preserve it.

    Kind of a head scratcher!!! You spent more on grading than the coins are worth. You needed to get MS 65 or higher and MS65 FBL to make any money, for these very common dates. Also PCGS and NGC dont charge you for full bell lines designation, its part of their service. Try something tougher like Seated half dollars next time, you'll definitely see a better return on investment with those.

      I was doing this as a service for 1 Roll as he wanted these coins preserved as is, and not for the financial value of the coins.
