    Most clutch single World Series performance ever was David Freese. Most clutch season ever was by Cardinals Alan Craig. In 2013 he hit .454 with runners in scoring position. For the entire season.

    i dunno how they didn't manage to come up with pete rose. a combination of "lots of hits" and "lots of playoffs" kind of signals pete rose, but i guess the much shorter playoffs format made them really just try to think of newer guys. they still somehow came up with yogi berra though.

    It's mostly who was in the post season a lot. I definitely would have gone for players from teams with big runs. Reds, Braves, Yankees, Sox, Cardinals, and Astros. I'm surprised only Rose from the big red machine was on there

      You've got to win at least two in a three year stretch to be a dynasty. Two, with one shady one, in six years isn't a dynasty. Getting there and losing does not factor in. There's a reason the Yankees dynasty era is 1996-2000, not 1996-2001. They lost in 2001.
      Astros aren't a dynasty, the Braves weren't a dynasty. Big Red Machine was a dynasty, the Joe DiMaggio Yankees were a dynasty.

    • @baileysmith4744
      @baileysmith4744 3 месяца назад

      @@snerdterguson. the Astros were dominant for years and won multiple championships, they are absolutely a dynasty, and that could continue if they pick the pace up this year

    • @msz-gz6zm
      @msz-gz6zm 2 месяца назад

      Three championships is my bare minimum to be considered a dynasty. It’s all subjective obviously but I think it’d be universally agreed that two rings doesn’t make a team a dynasty. And if championship appearances are your threshold, that’s a low bar. The Miami heat going 4 straight years with lebron and winning two would make them a dynasty and they certainly don’t pass the eye test for me.

    • @baileysmith4744
      @baileysmith4744 2 месяца назад

      @@msz-gz6zm. minimum for a dyansty is just to dominate your divison and consistently put up deep runs in the playoff
