so there was this period in my life when i kept attracting the wrong people, wrong opportunities, everything just felt…off. i couldn’t figure out why it kept happening. then one day, a friend mentioned a book called Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, saying it helped them see the patterns they didn’t even realize they had. i decided to give it a read, and wow, it opened my eyes to how much my own energy was shaping my life. seriously, this book is something else.

    For understanding price is rising.
For example, bread cost 80 cents, and now it costs 1 dollar. But the price of the most important products remains the same and for understanding, who says that a normal standard of living is only in Moscow or St. Petersburg. This is not true. In the regions, the wage level is lower, but the products are cheaper and the living space is also cheaper. Most Russians have their own apartments. The state supports families. The rise in prices has hit more vulnerable groups of the population such as pensioners. You don't need to ask the young about the rise in prices, they work. Salaries have also increased by 20-30% over the past 2 years and more than cover the rise in prices.

Putin interfered in ukrainian politics one too many time in 2013, which was the catalyst for the euromaidan movement, which ended with Yanukovich fleeing Ukraine. A few days after, before the new ukrainian government could do anything at all, Putin sent troops to invade Crimea and, a few months later sent agents in the Donbas to start a civil war, which he then constantly fueled event to the point of sending actual russian soldiers in support.
It took until december 2014 for the new ukrainian government to officially end neutrality and ask NATO for help. Until 2019 for them to put joining NATO into the ukrainian constitution. In other words, they didn't want to join NATO, they wished to remain neutral and keep the status quo, but russian agression forced their hand.
In 2021 (a year in which 25 civilians total died in the Donbas), Putin sent an ultimatum to NATO, then in 2022 started the "SMO" that has so far destroyed the russian soviet legacy stocks of equipment, brought NATO some new members and brought between 1 to 2 million casualties between russian and ukrainians.
It's clearly not happening because Ukraine wanted to join NATO (they didn't want to in 2014, nor could they have back then as France and Germany made it clear they would block any attempt), nor because of any NATO threat (they are more powerful now and Russia already had nukes back in 2014) and it's not to protect people in the Donbas or in Ukraine (they are the one who suffer the most from Putin's war and the 2021 ultimatum simply didn't mention them at all).
Putin though he could have an easy victory in 2014 and he was right. He thought the western powers wouldn't react when he started the civil war in 2014 and he was right. He then thought he could have an easy victory with the west not doing anything again in 2022, which proved a huge misscalculation -> he was proven very wrong. Instead of accepting he was wrong, he doubled and tripled down on his failed bet, ruining Russia in the process and killing so many tens of thousands.
That basically all there is to it.

The high inflation that the Russian economy is dealing with includes the cost of war, higher wages for the conscripts going to war, the high salaries of millions working in military factories, and sanctions. However, once the war comes to a halt, as eventually all wars do, there will be millions who will be out of high paying jobs, including providing tax revenues back to the state. Thus, inflation, subsequent unemployment, and lowering oil prices will be issues that will continue to drive down the Russian economy and provide a slow, if not a stagnant, recovery. So, even if Russia wins the war, which is doubtful, it still loses a decade of growth. JUST SAYING...

UK inflation is 2.6 per cent. Russia claims its inflation rate is 9 per cent but few economists believe this figure. I also felt that the chap is taking the bright sight for Russia. The facts he mentions (like increased effective salary in some industries) is correct (at least, I heard it from other sources as well). But pensions are indeed 15-20k ruble (still enough to buy 10 Xmas trees) and average income in parts of Russia is below $500. Average is not a good measurement, because of the high inequality of income: Moscow and St Petersburg have high incomes, some people have very high income. That increases the average salary, while the average Russian has the (much lower) median salary.
