Unfortunately, you can't install another Mame emulator version for Batocera. Compatible roms must come from set 0.78. Google "Mame Roms 0.78". The libretro core imame4all, based upon Mame v0.37b5, is also included. Your "sample" files must be added to /userdata/bios/mame2003/sample. In addition, you can't just add snap image files and have Batocera see them. You have to "scrape" your games. Go into your "Main Menu" and then select "Scrape" Once your Mame games are scraped, then you will have snap images.
@@BatoceraNation thanks for your answer. And the roms must added to userdata/bios/mame2003/roms.or to mame/roms??and have any link for mame roms set 0.78 to download??

@@BatoceraNation thank you for your time and help
Hi me again, how can I run PS2 games on Batocera, when I start a game it go back to the gamemenu...tnx again for the help
In the PS2 ROMs folder, find out in the info.txt file what kind of file extensions, the PS2 emulator will accept. Make sure your ROMs file extensions match yours. You might also find some games on archive.org.
You need BIOS file first
I can only see Sega genesis, Nintendo, commodore, but not PS2, PS3, and Wii in the menu. I am using a old laptop with intel 8250u and integrated graphics.
When you add the games to the roms folder, they should pop up when you update the Games Lists. Although you might limited in your gameplay due to your specs.
I face a problem in the scraper ! It shows error I don’t know why and I can’t get any image fir games or videos fortunately and if someone know how to fix that problem help me please thanks 🙏
It means that the server is down. Unfortunately, this is something that happens from time to time. Too many people are trying to download images at the same time.
I don't have all the emulators. I only have commodore 64, pc engine, Nintendo, super Nintendo, game boy advanced, ports, pygame, & sega mega drive,
Systems only show that have games in them.
Those only show at first cause thats whats included in the image, a handful of freeware games.
So you need to drop roms in the appropriate folders then update gameslists.
You need a better mic to hear you more clearly.
Slow down when you are changing game settings so we can see what you are changing.
Continue with videos on improving video quality and performance.
Got a new mic. Will slow down in game settings. Thanks for the tips!
wow, thanks for this video. because this is what I was looking for. and I just want to ask for help to anyone who can help me. how to exit PS2 game? sometimes in some PS2 games, for example Downhill. I can't exit the game even though I have pressed the esc key many times. so I had to press the power button on my laptop to turn it off.
The Hot Key plus the start button on your gamepad should do it. Make sure to set the Hot Key in Bluetooth and Controllers settings.
@@BatoceraNation thanks, i will try
Anyone else unable to configure your sn30 pro controller to have a hot key or even switch default A buttons?
Follow these directions:
1. Attach a keyboard to your Batocera system.
2. Press the Spacebar (or the Start button on your controller)
3. Select "Controllers and Bluetooth Settings"
4. Select "Configure a Controller"
Set all your buttons from there including your hotkey.
Need bios cdi on batocera ?
All of the latest bios are found here: archive.org/details/batocera-32-bios
@@BatoceraNation philip cdi ?
When I press F1 nothing happens and can I add new emulators.
Are you using a computer or something else? It should work on any computer or laptop.
The second question about adding new emulators. The emulators inside Batocera are already built in. There are a bunch included. Besides those, there is no easy way to add more Emulators.
@@BatoceraNation tnx for reply...this problem is solved
@@BatoceraNation but why do I see 8 of them and not all of them on the startscreen
@@JeanPaulLaureys I assume that you see 8 consoles when Batocera boots up, right? But what do you mean by not seeing them on the Startscreen? Explain your problem more to me.
Hi how batocera hdmi output
Is 4gb enough for snes and nes and like game boy games?
I answered your question where you asked this in retro game corps video.
Were you successful?
Hello, great video!! I was wondering if there is a way to set my resolution to 320 X 240? I am using a Sony Trinitron CRT and the lowest resolution available is 640 X 480. The image looks great but parts of the game is getting cut off at the edges, Both the sides and top and bottom. is there a way to fix this? thank you :)
Can batocera play cdi game ??????
I forget which emulator uses cdi but yes, it works in that emulator.
@@BatoceraNation but i have some rom cdi cant detected on my batocera ?
how do i add more emulators
switch, xbox and others
@@michaelwhaley4638 Those are not built into Batocera. They have to be supported (or built into) in Batocera to work. Given time, they will eventually be added to Batocera.
@@BatoceraNation thank you, I was not sure. There is someone on here talking about xbox, so that is why I asked.
@@michaelwhaley4638 There might be a way to install one of those emulators via Windows or Wine. But you would need a powerful PC to pull it off. I plan to play with Yuzu in the near future and see if I can pull it off. If I can, I will do a video tutorial.
@@BatoceraNation yes, I have a very powerful pc
Botacera showing only 5 emulators, how to get other emulators???
When you add games to your roms folders, the emulators will appear. It doesn't show up until you have games in the roms folders.
