Busting the myth that you have to move to US like countries to be a millionaire. It's all about skills nowadays. But money is not the only factor that counts when we look at job options. Go with what you like the most overall. What are your thoughts? Hope you liked it! ❤️
That was wonderful decision. Science says if you change your circadiun rythem to working at night and sleeping at morning it will increase the chance of cancer.
Thanks for the top notch content. 👌 And gotta say, as an aspiring data engineer studying in Pune, your videos always end up helping in unexpected ways haha
Sir I want to asked you that Data engineering requires good mathematics....as I am not good in maths and also not so good in programming logic ...how much difficult to pursue career in this field sir...thank you
For an aspiring data engineer with only a high school degree, would you recommend getting a computer science degree first OR going straight to studying your data engineering roadmap to become the most competitive/marketable and have the best chances of success? I’m torn on if the opportunity cost of the CS degree is worth it.
I would recommend getting a CS degree. It will help you not just as a degree but with skills required for the role too. Although, it is possible to get a job without a degree too. But it's not as likely as the degree path
Great content and very helpful. What are your thoughts on the taxation ? I believe taxes need to paid in US so the overall amount might be 70 or 80% of 120K $. And what about work timings ? You would have to match US timings I guess
This is a great question. They were not withholding any tax from their end because I didn't live in US. I would have had to hire a CA and pay tax to Indian government. Also, they did mention that they will only keep meetings in the evening time in India and rest of the time I can work on the morning but in a start up when you are the only DE, meetings can increase and you can't say no to taking meetings in US timings. So it would go into night at least till around 12-1 AM IST. I didn't like this part.
@@ankurgokhale6510 No. It was not the case. Their COO confirmed this to me in writing, that they did not withhold taxes for people outside US. Their entire team was working remotely in different parts of the world. For India, I would to create my own GST number. almost like an independent consultant or company.
please also make an video about remote jobs for data analyst and data engineering.....and also include salary breakdown and taxations and work life balance Bless me brother 😄
That's really amazing video Jash. It would be really helpful if you can make video on or guide us on - studying abroad and working there vs working in India and getting exposure of abroad through working. What to do?
Hey Jash, I'm currently in a similar kind of dilemma and would like to discuss with you more about data engineering, is it possible connect at Topmate?
AI and automation can replace every single job in the world. But it will surely take decades. Even if it does, this AI itself will run on data and data engineers will be maintaining its data pipelines. Data engineering is prerequisite to ML ans AI not the other way around.
160k is A LOT 😆 Did you receive this offer right AFTER graduating as a computer scientist? In other words, you got this offer as a junior data engineer?
Woah! The way you meticulously think and make decisions is really amazing.😄
Keep posting such amazing content more and more👍
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it 😊😊
Loved it, didn't know LinkedIn posts were so important as well. Thanks and high five from your junior from Nirma!!
Hey! ✋ And yes, it does help if the recruiter is searching for candidates on LinkedIn
Amazing video! Thanks! Very excited to see this channel grow
Thanks Ritik. Awesome to hear such feedback from you guys! 😊

I am also in Pune and pursuing data engineering from where you are learning?
Great Jash 👍👍
Thank you! 😊

Thanks! 😊😊
Very Gripping Content 👌🏻👌🏻 Waiting for more 😃
Thank you ❤️
And the interesting thing is that I'm watching this video of yours exactly two years later, on the same date, 29th October 2024
Happy Diwali Sir!
Happy Diwali ✨️
You made a good choice.
Congratulations 🎉
Thank you so much! 😃
Sir I want to asked you that Data engineering requires good mathematics....as I am not good in maths and also not so good in programming logic ...how much difficult to pursue career in this field sir...thank you
Maths is not that much needed in pure DE. For DS, it is a must. Intermediate level programming is required. Not pro level for DE.

@@JashRadia There would be double taxation (both from US and India). Also they would deduct state tax since the employer is located in California.

In the UK the average for a data engineer is 40-50k GBP nowhere near USA
This is a huge difference!

Thank you! And I can try on the topic you mentioned.
Thanks Jash for the reply 🙏. There are many others who are confused on this, it would be great if you can help some of us on this.
Jash that means data engineer will have a job in web 3.0 like the way data scientist and machine learning engineer has a job in web 3.0 ?
Yes. Data scientists can't function alone without data engineers.

Sure. Feel free to book a slot
As a side note, how did you manage to get such a posh apartment in 25k ?
I guess I am lucky
