My grandparents had a porch swing, and ever summer my cousins would come visit. We spent hours on that porch swing. It was such a simpler time! I do miss it. Thanks for the memories!
A happy and healthy New Year to you and your family. The adorable swing reminded me of my Grandfather’s front porch glider, sweet memories. Just wanted to share a quick story with you; at a stamping event the lady across from me couldn’t get the paper off of a foam dimensional so I said she needed a “pokey tool.” She laughed and said she loved that, a pokey tool. You have added a new name to our tool vocabulary. Thank you for all you do for your followers, sharing your time and creative ideas. 🎉 Hugs, Peggy in MD 🇺🇸
Hi Chris, I love today's card, makes it feel like summer and just sitting with a glass of something enjoying the garden, thanks for lovely demo as always .😁
Thank you so much for the inspiration you are providing. I love all of these dies and I really appreciate what you are doing. We are sweltering here in northern Australia in a summer heatwave so it's lovely to relax and watch your videos in the aircon - now to start making.
i really like the way you have done this card. the multi layers on the swing with the seat slats lighter then the base. very very effective! and the pillows worked out well with the bright blue over top of the aqua colors. adds a bit more color dimension. i've been enjoying this series. the very small die cuts worried me at the beginning! lol i thought they would never 'fill up' a card front. you have been very creative and i have been enjoying the simple effect of the cards. i look forward to next years series already! 💜
I loved this swing as soon as I saw it. Those little holes are gong to be challenging even using your "trick." I can't believe we're almost at the end and then the start of another year. I'm putting away all my new crafty goodies that I accumulated during the holiday season and, BOY, it is a chore. That will teach to rein in the purchasing! But I do have some lovely product that is going to make some great cards this year.
It is really interesting how different English can be here in the US from there in England. We also call the pillows for our head pillows or bed pillows. The sort on your card we usually call throw pillows. Cushions are usually what we sit on, either on the sofa or on the floor. I too love the Home Town series and I think your card looks very much like something Ben Napier might make! 💕
Hello Christine. Super idée. Cette banquette ne pouvait qu être suspendue et le sentiment fonctionne bien avec . Happy birthday To your daughter. J espère que cette fois la taille des pantoufles sera bonne ( ça évitera les chutes 😂) . Merci pour la vidéo bonne fin de journée 👏👏👋👋👋👋
Hi Christine, Today is my granddaughter’s 6th. Birthday. Time flys. I too love watching Ben and Erin. Just watched an episode where Ben made 2 swings out of an old whiskey barrel. They both do amazing work. As do you but with Different elements. Love your video’s. TFS. Sherry from Canada 🇨🇦. All the best to you and your family in the coming New Year. P.S. Happy Birthday to your daughter.
Ah Chris! - what a dexterous and innovative designer you are! When I first saw the swing, I thought "however will Chris pummel this die into submission?" As usual, you tweaked, invented, cajoled and tinted an inanimate object into a 3 dimensional thing of beauty. "I dips me lid!"

Great place to sit and ponder your sins or not. Maybe a little wine as long as it wasn't too full. Love the finished product. Well done and thank you for sharing. Only 3 left. oh what will we do in the morning?
I love watching the Napier's too! Both are so talented. Your baby is 43 today, my oldest will be 42 in 2024. My baby will be 28 next month. LOL Where does the time go?! I do enjoy learning your country's words for things, it is so fun! Yes, we call them pillows, cushions are what our butts sit on here. LOL Love how your card and swing came out! I've always said there is no place like home even if home is a hole in the wall. Hugs, Brenda
What a sweet card. It’s so gorgeous. You could add legs and turn it into a bench as well. I love your interpretation of this cute die. It’s lovely, and the sentiment is perfect. - Dawn 🌅
That explains no legs 😂😂. When I opened mine, I was thinking, legs 🧐I might have twigged when I cut it out, but I sat looking at it, and put it back in the packet for another day. Thanks for solving. What would we do without your daily reveals. Thanks
Christine I really can’t believe what you do with these dies. Amazing. Thanks for all your time and effort putting the videos together.
Thanks so much, it's my pleasure😊😊😊

We had a swing just like this hanging from a sturdy oak branch in front of the fire pit at our cottage. Loved it! Love your card!
Happy memories!😊
@@Chrissieannie Yes, indeed!
Delightful, Chris. The swing is so versatile. Add your gnome or elf at Christmas. Lots of options. TFS. From Cheryl in AZ

Wonderful comment thank you, birthday wishes all round today!❤️❤️❤️
The Napiers would love this card!
You can just imagine Ben making this seat can't you... And he'd do it beautifully!
Very nice card
Thanks
I have a lawn bench die and I found cutting the cushions out of printed paper worked well!
I didn't think of it until near the end of the video did I, but I think they would look good in patterned paper
💜💜💜
💜💜💜
Brilliant! I thought it was a sort of futon, makes much more sense as a swing!
Many thanks

We call them cushions as well. Pillows are part of bedding.
Yup😊
Very cool card. My baby is the same age as yours. Jenny ❤😊

Oh I wish now I had ordered the extended Christmas advent calendar😢
Maybe next year? They are such great dies aren't they!😊😊😊
Amazing, love these dies, next year I'll go for the full 31 days of the Advent Calendar, missing the challenge already.
Thanks so much Christine 😊
They certainly are fun aren't they!
