The Chessup boards still look like toys to me. Granted, that is a shallow point of view, but I cannot shake the feeling. I far prefer DGT, Millennium, and Chessnut.
It's different, for sure. I still enjoy my Millennium board, but for simplicity, you can't beat this board. Especially for someone just getting into the hobby. Functionality vs. aesthetic preference. I actually like them both. Thanks for the comment.
