The thing is: Cid use magic to reconstruct his body since he was basically a child. And he also exercise effectively from his modern science knowledge. This man might be delusional and whatnot, but you have to respect his effort to go so far to rearranged his own bones and muscles to looks like that.
Indeed, Cid might be delusional, iirc he admitted it himself, but he's definitely worthy of respect. The dude trained all martial arts he could learn, and read all books he could have his hands on.
His goal might be questionable, but the steps he took to reach it cannot be ignored.
Well yeah that's why Cid said he wishes he could've fought her at full power. You can tell this was merely a smidge because no way she could've destroyed the world like that lol. But I do love that they gave smiles to each other lol. Aurora is one of my fav chars. I also find her super cute.
Beta and Alexia are laughs together lol. Rose is so funny how she signed Cid up for the tournament even knowing people have died previously.

Read the wiki. Aurora gives Claire clues to Cid's identity, but it doesn't click. Rose briefly realizes, but she decides she is overthinking it. Delta is the only one who seems able to identify him regardless of his disguise.

prolly one of those times he forgets to play the correct role and leans in too much on the dramaticism lol, like with what he did in the last episode. (still episode 11, not saying it here)
In the manga the witch Aurora wield a big scythe, and can summon multiple weapons. Not hating the anime but i just thought it would be cool if they animated that
I something entirely different happened in the light novel I think. I do like the anime's way because it hints at her having a connection to vampires, with the fighting style being a vampire like attack.

This arc is fantastic. There are a couple of arcs that really stand out for me, and The Sanctuary is like top 3. My other favs are after the anime. Look forward to season 2 and 3.

BTW, inthe manga, the number of times Alexia stares at.....Excalibur, gets counted. 7 times, if I recall right. As much as I prefer the extra gags in mangas to be left out, THIS one, I really wish had made it to the anime. Just like how Mon-Fu should really have been the term, rather than Background Character Technique for whatever
