Fun fact, it wasn't explicitly stated in the anime, but Shadow was intentionally letting Elizabeth trade blows with his slime so that he could get rid of his coins, since it has become too heavy for him to move properly. You can see as he enters the fight, when the slime he was dragging slammed the floor, it destroyed it, showing how heavy it was. I personally liked that the studio went with the "show don't tell" method here instead of having Shadow explain via monologue why he wasn't moving yet. Though she didn't talk much, hearing Saori Hayami as Elizabeth got me giggling a bit. Aurora attempting the All-range Atomic was hype af. It's a shame Claire's body couldn't handle it.
well cid said himself in order to not evaporate in nuclear I have to become nuclear itself(episode 5) that's why he is able to make or do atomic attacks and the reason aurora attempted wasn't to actually use I am atomic but to call cid or shadow but still she was able to imitate shadow since her knowledge of magic is high but doesn't have the body constitution to handle the side effects

It will be terrible adaptation as well if every internal monologue of Cid/Shadow was adapted, and for me the Animation on this one did it's actual job.. To translate it into a show.

When Aurora was about to drop the atomic line...shit had me hyped fr! As a manga reader this episode surpassed my expectations. There was some cut content, sure. But overall an amazing ep!

I loved this episode and have no complaints but there have been scenes that are cut like Juggernaut and Yukime fighting with Elizabeth, Claire dinner scene and her backstory, the reason why Beta does her writing. These might not seem much on their own but it is on its own right character moments that help the side characters shine and give depth to them. Again my point is not that anime adaptaion left me unsatisfied or that these parts are important but as a fan these are special moments on their own rights which I would have loved to see animated.
To why Aurora couldn't use I am atomic is because when using I am atomic you focus a lot of magic onto a single point, then you just let the magic explode, the area with the magic circuitry is not just for show but to contain and condense more magic. Claire's Body couldn't handle focusing magic on a single point, hence her hand was damaged first.

In the novel and manga, noone could see the gold coins at any point. They were just inside the slime. He ended up having to dump them out at one point because they were slowing him down a LOT. Shadow WAS protecting Beta, Claire, and the other girls, not being mad about the coins, because they were not getting destroyed. He gets blasted through a wall, and dumps the coins there, thinking to come back for them after the fight. Beta ends up catching a glimpse of the pile of gold, but writes it off because SHADOW.
Aurora can just copy it just like that?! insane.. If only Claire's body could handle all that it would've actually been the end of the whole fight. But it was Aurora's plan to stall the Queen until Cid arrives, ok move tbf as there will be less casualties and the infected will just remain to their normal usual lives.

Considering how little of the demon's power would really be in Claire's body though, all that really matters for her wellbeing here is whether Aurora still remembers how to control her own demonic energy, which it seems she does.
