I loved Chief Franklin's press release about this. He said officers ran into the building to stop the threat because that is what officers do. Hey, Broward County FL Sheriff and all the officers in Uvalde TX! You hear that.
Hi hi i got the full story... The shooter was a patient who recently got back surgery but he was upset that his back was still in pain so he thought it was a good idea to kill the doctor that performed the surgery on him. He walked into the building and shot and killed the person at the front desk. He made his way to the second floor where he shot another doctor and killed her. When he made it to the room that the doctor he was originally looking for was in, there was a patient in there who tried to hold the door closed but he was shot and taken to the hospital where he later died. The shooter gained entry into the room and killed the targeted doctor. The targeted doctor was Dr. Preston Phillips The other doctor killed was Dr. Stephanie Husen The person at the desk was Amanda Glenn The patient was William Love And the gunman was Micheal Louis who was taken into custody.
@@kaitlynngodown1733 actually he didnt kill himself you can find his mug shot on google. When they apprehended him they used the wrong wording and said the shooter was taken down which sound like he was killed as well but he wasn't
@@yeah4me2 more like he was just angry and thought revenge was a good idea. His back was hurting and the doctor didn't fix it. Those emotions you are describing, sure he might have felt those but if it was just a backache then I think it was more of a psychological thing. Perhaps he was schizophrenic or had PD. What I'm saying is this act most likely didn't stem from emotions caused by a simple backache. In his mind, it probably seemed like a good idea but in reality, it is terrible.
The week of this shooting I was trying to convince a South Florida friend who lives on a buffer Island that life is a little different here in oklahoma. Where people can go shopping with weapons of war! I don't know if they're in for a quart of milk or in the next mass murder! #BanAssaultWeapons
This isn’t a normal day in the US. This is rare to happen. Especially in Tulsa. The media just makes it seem like it’s an everyday thing. But you know what’s to blame for these incidents? Our society is to blame. Our society pushes the wrong morals down peoples throats, that makes people think things like this don’t have consequences.
@@judahbrewster Looking at this as a Brit, it still seems to happen way too often. For some context, the last school shooting happened in 1996 in the UK. You know there's a problem when kids at school have to do active shooter drills and some schools have armed security. At school ffs! It just seems completely mad and quite depressing that kids at that age would have to worry about that sort of thing. I read that there hasn't been a single week this year where a mass shooting hasn't occurred! By any standards that is definitely a regular occurrence, as tragic as it is.
@@jammydodgerman sadly it does happen too much, even 1 time is 1 too many, but it doesn’t happen as often as the media makes it seem. Also seeing as how you said your a Brit, you can only see it from a camera view and what the media shows. A way to ovoid these mass shootings without taking away guns (because that would not work in the slightest, that would just disarm good citizens.) is to arm good TRAINED people. In this case arming hospital workers. In the Uvalde case, arming teachers. One bad guy with a gun can’t match a whole team/crew with guns.
I live 3 minutes from where this happened and knew the Doctor. This is still heartbreaking and so sad

For those who don’t know, 4 lives were taken in this mass shooting.
For those that can read it's in the description

The shooter was not taken into custody. He killed himself. Better to not share a story if you don’t have it 100% factual.

Notice how this happened in the 1-gun free zone, besides schools, which have TPD presence. Get a life lib.
