I’ve seen the video. If the older man hit the woman first as the video suggests, it is the reason they all started hitting him. If the older man didn’t hit the woman, it is a case of him being assaulted as a response to him being physically confrontational and not communicating while people approach you which is also confrontational. One scenario is physical confrontation while the other is physically violent. Either way, it is excessive force. Manslaughter or murder will be the outcome for the old man as taking a knife out and slashing people in an indiscriminate manner is excessive force.

And that's all on video and then the video shows the two Karen's from the second group approached him and then the first group approaches him and this is after he has walked away and disengaged with the first group. The underage truck that died was trying to choke Mr Miu and it comes out in this video this witness testimony. Get your facts straight and quit pushing misinformation. They attack him first he had the right to defend himself

This testimony is illuminating. It reveals a lot about the cowardly thinking of group dynamics; 'we just wanted to hang around to see what would happen' - in other words he found power by being in a group. There is no sense of personal responsibility or any attempt to introspect - no consideration that maybe they should establish the facts before yelling false accusations.

At no point did anyone involved attempt to deescalate the situation. There are consequences for antagonizing, shouting, and surrounding someone. Mr Mui also could have easily explained to the kids that he was looking for a lost phone instead of brushing off their questions and taunts. He also could have brandished the knife and screamed at them to get back as soon as he took it out his pocket. He could have at least warned the rest of them after he stabbed the first or second kid. So many poor decisions made that day.
I thought the same but someone brought up to me how much worse this could have gone if he had. I hadn’t considered all of that.

Mr Miu did walk away from them and de-escalated when he turned his back to them and disengaged with him and the video clearly shows that. After he disengages with the first group the second group of preaches him then the first group approaches him. He walked away they come to him they escalated this into a physical altercation he defended himself and those are the facts.

Owen Peloquin, a witness for the prosecution, get dismantled piece by piece by the defense lawyer. This guy was caught in lie after lie yet will not face any perjury charges. I wonder if the State made and agreement with Mr. Peloguin to not charge perjury if he agreed to further the narrative. WI will lose this case just as they lost Kyle Rittenhouse's case.
At the very beginning of this video he says he was shocked because he saw the knife. The knife didn't even make an appearance yet. This was the moment that the woman was allegedly hit by Miu. This guy lied so much throughout his testimony that it must have solidified a self defense verdict for Miu.

Mr. Mui lied to the police several times. His ex-wife AND “best friend” confirmed Mui brought his knife (friend asked him to), Mui said he did not, that he “took” knife away from one of them. Then, instead of calling police after the horrific events, he threw away his knife and acted like he knew nothing of that, asking them after he was cuffed and in police car, “Do I look like the guy who you’re looking for?” That is NOT the behavior of an innocent man, even if he was in shock, you don’t flat out lie.
He never said a word about why he was approaching teens’ tube, he just pushed them and shoved the tubes. It’s SO horribly sad that NONE of this hideous death and mutilation would have happened if he had come up, introduced himself, said he was there looking for his friend ,in a boat further up river, who lost his phone.If there’s one thing that teens appreciate is phones! They might have even tried to help him. But instead Miu came at them with silence and hostility-as though they had stolen the phone! (I’d hate to be Miu’s kid!
