I observe all of the Holy Days. This wonderful man has bridged the gap. While I don't celebrate Easter or Christmas in the way most do I just want to say thank you to Bishop T.D. Jakes, his wife, their family and their church family for the support they've provided to Potter House Ministries over the years so that I would be able to listen to this intelligent man speak to the world. God has surely tested him and he broke through by the strength and Grace of God. I listen to many more preachers, pastors, and people spreading the Word. He happens to be one of my favorites. We can all learn something from someone and we must not be so stuck in a rut that we can't receive the Word from those who truly understand the Bible. I enjoy listening to Stephen Furtick as well. They, among others including my pastor Fred Coulter, have helped me grow quickly and astoundingly. I'm grateful to God for the people he has sent to cross our paths and am grateful for technology so that I'm able to hear the Word from others I wouldn't have normally crossed paths with 30 years ago. God is surely good. "Strengthen my faith as You have done in the past and I will handle the rest with Your Grace."

Pastor Jakes, I have been touched by your word today as usual. I love the fact that you teach from the bible and I can relate it to my own life every time. I am going to follow where the spirit has lead me, and pray for my family(those that love and accept me, those that hate me, and everything in between) as hard as I pray for my husband and children. I can't be angry anymore because that poison is killing ME not them. I must love others as I want to be loved. I was raised to believe that you treat others as you want them to treat u. As I got older/bitter it changed to treat others as they treat me. I have been praying Romans 12:2 over my life since 9/25/2019 and I realized this week that little by little GOD has been transforming me in ways I never dreamed possible. I believe in myself and know for a fact that I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME. The pandemic has made me examine my life and remember things about myself that I forgot. It has also helped me to appericate my family more, even the ones who get on my nerves. I have the time to recognize how I can be a WARRIOR for the Lord. I can hear him and recognize his voice. I know I AM GOD'S CHILD. I want to shout it from the roof tops how much I love him. Especially when he says no. I know as a parent that telling your child no is hard even when its for their own good. God has to do that everyday and then heat us complain when he was saving us. I want to thank you for showing me the way. I tell everyone I know about the amazing sermons and bible studies of my Pastor, father, friend, and truth teller. I pray everyone is not conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of their mind so that we can prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. Love and blessings

As I near my 60th year, I can see a lessening with each generation of some prejudices that stains our country. A retired educator of youth for three decades and considering that I was blessed to have all my Grandparents live until I was 40 prejudices of all types will be brought into and removed by the Light of our Gospel and its continual teaching, preaching and applying. Thank you for this message. It has inspired me to start a free mentoring/counseling program for young black men. Encouraging them not to throw their lives away. Pointing them in the right direction. Seeing them all the way through. Showing them other alternatives besides gangs,rap music,crime etc. This will be in respect to those who we lost along the way. Those we lost to the grave and the pennitary. Pray for my journey and success and thank you again.

A retired educator of youth for three decades and considering that I was blessed to have all my Grandparents live until I was 40 prejudices of all types will be brought into and removed by the Light of our Gospel and its continual teaching, preaching and applying. Thank you for this message. It has inspired me to start a free mentoring/counseling program for young black men. Encouraging them not to throw their lives away. Pointing them in the right direction. Seeing them all the way through. Showing them other alternatives besides gangs,rap music,crime etc. This will be in respect to those who we lost along the way.
