This band helped me when puberty hit me like a tone of bricks☺️☺️💀 Update: because I was on the autism spectrum and having anxiety puberty made me even more anxious with anger issues and afi helped me through it.
Holy shit, Davey sounds like Elliott Smith here. I wouldn't be surprised if he was influenced by him for a few songs, he has the "Whisper" vocal style Elliott masterfully pulled off.
As being a Fan of AFI since 96, I think BA has served its purpose. Crash Love was really amazing, but I hope their next record is more like The Art Of Drowning or Sing The Sorrow
Why is this no longer on Spotify?! It took me ages to find this because I'd forgotten the name. It's nowhere in their Wikipedia discography and I couldn't remember which ep it was on. I lost my physical disc years ago, I thought I'd imagined it...
Davey said he just wanted to finish up a Blaqk Audio CD before working on another AFI album because otherwise everyone would think he just gave up on BA. And now history repeats itself, and everyone thinks AFI has broken up or gone on hiatus because of BA.
No they didn't... A simple google search will show that that story was a hoax. The TRUE afi is ALL of their work. They are multifaceted artists who have different kinds of music in them. Anyone who can't appreciate it all isn't a fan.
Its been 15 years and i come back to this song everytime im at my lowest point so i can swallow all my sorrows
Back again, it seems like yesterday I had this song on repeat
OTA will always be there for us all ◾️◾️◾️
Super fun to play
Same. Haven’t listened to ths for probably 5 years but now I reckon I’m hooked again on the repeat cycle haha. So good. Never should have left.
THEY SONG THIS SONG AT THE DENVER CONCERT 2022! BEST THING EVER, I CRIED LIKE A LITTLE GIRL.
They seriously need to have this amazing beautiful song on other platforms…
This might sound odd but listening to this song is like getting wrapped in a warm blanket with mug of tea.
I read this whilst wrapped up in a blanket and drinking a fine cup of cha....incredibly apt.
this song proves that afi can do anything from the screaming of their earlier stuff to this
cant wait for the new album
Amen!
I miss this AFI ..December Underground and Earlier
Fragments of joy torn apart.
Amazing lyrics
Still here 2024 ❤

This song might actually make me cry one of these days…

They didn't break-up, they're on a hiatus right now
