World No. 1 Hit in 1978 - the Brothers Gibb set with this dance floor monster banger finally the whole world on fire. This was #1 in 26 countries and is still the hallmark of the disco shuffle, who was instructed by John Travolta in the amazing SNF Movie - a film for an entire generation. 🕺🕺 this is the Night Fever dance finger point emoji 👍

The song is from the classic disco movie "Saturday Night Fever "(1977) and is on the soundtrack for the movie. It is considered a disco classic as is "Stayin' Alive " which is featured at the opening of the movie as John Travolta struts down the street. The Bee Gees wrote several songs for the movie soundtrack none of were nominated for an Academy Award. Back then the the Academy's music branch was prejudice against rock and pop music being nominated for Best Song or Music Score.
