Then 2005 came along and she sells the 2nd best selling album of 2005 and the best selling album of a female artist, the biggest song that she had up to that point, and the longest charting song of the 2000s. Add to that 8 grammy nods, multiple awards from different organizations and a new generation of listeners learned of THEEE MARIAH CAREY. Once again, Mariah was HUGE, she was on top, and it was cool to be a Mariah fan again. Lets hope MC16 is Mariahs comeback album.
