It doesn't necessarily mean you have bad listening skills. Sometimes we don't notice the difference just because we hear it so much. I often forget the British accent is different.

Kuzuha calls him “Ras-chi”
The "ts" sound exists in English as well. Just try saying "bats" and "bass" and you might hear the difference. Then you just add the "u" sound to complete the syllable.
Dropping the 'Th' makes me think he picked it up from Mysta. British pronunciation must be confusing to learn because if you travel around, the accents and dialects change every few miles.
