- If you want to use your factory C-Lights on your '14-'16 SJ Forester as your daytime running lights instead of the weak low voltage high beam lights, you can use the Subibrios.com DRL harness for the '15+ WRX, with a few minor modifications.

Thank you for this video. it provided me with a good idea. I attempted to connect an ACC power from my engine bay, but I couldn't find any available wires to tap into from the fuse box. I then explored wiring it from a relay switch, but there were no vacant relay sockets, and it's dangerous to tap into a relay switch in use. Finally, I was inspired by your video to connect two wires to both the low and high beam lights with two fuse, effectively providing a constant voltage source.
After this install, does your C light still turn on if you switch into parking lights on the lever? Great install video btw.
Hi. Subiebros does not send the harness to my country. Is it possible to learn the internal connection of it.
Awesome video and install. Thanks for the support!
Can you please do an install video on the GCS front bumper vent lights, or anything like it? I cannot find anything anywhere!!
I'd like to see that too.
Hello friend!
Did I understand correctly that you have one lamp in your fog lamps?
In my version I have a fog lamp and daytime running lights, 2 lamps. In my case, I can turn off the second lamp responsible for daytime running lights and make a remount like in your video. Right?
Will it be the same on 2017 model?
Ordered this kit; thanks for this install vid.
Could you share me the link to the C light kit that would fit my 2015 Subaru Forester
@@outcastcm it's the one linked in the video
One question.. forester 2021 sport already comes with C-light?
A simpler way to do this is to simply unplug your DRL harness( under intake duct under headlight ) and then run your c lights on demand when you want to with your head light switches in the second position , only difference is it is running your taillights as well but much simpler process to get rid of those gross yellow drl
This is another option. Though it will spend more power to not only turn the c light on and taillights but also will turn cockpit lights which is not necessary during daytime. But still work if you want to avoid the hassle of rewiring like seen in the video. 😁
of better, just tap the c-lights to a switch mounted on your panel to have turn on/off your c ligths in demand
Is there a link where I could purchase the DRL C shaped light in a kit? I own a 2015 Subaru Forester XT.
Do we also need to get the "accessory extension wire" and the "led c-light bulb" or is that just for WRXs? Thank you!
The accessory extension wires are just there so you can connect other accessories to the harness as a DRL, for example if you bought fog lights with a built in DRL ring, you could hook the ring up to the extension wire for DRL power.
Can you provide the link to where you get that harness to do this please? Thanks a lot.
Brandon B link is in the description!
Does the high beam functions still works?
alan Chanthavisouk Yes, high beams aren’t affected by this mod
This man must have used Simulink to do this
You know it. And there was probably a Transfer Function too.
@@nolantsuchiya6602 What is Simulink and where do I get it. Just tried the wire harness. didn't work. Do I need this Simulink to program? Thanks
First
..and probably only
