Archie wasn't playing about mixing just right in all the drops. He perfected this famous Technique. The set is so flavorful and groovy thanks to that.
Just knowing if next tracks are on either 32beats or 64Beats for the drop, he truly knows how to properly use effects to combine with tracks and create the perfect mix.
Is a beautiful Masterclass of mixing.

is there a name for his technique/DJing style? You're the first person to really articulate how I've felt about his DJ skills. He's super smooth and groovy. Rare DJ.
@@CNote415 Usually used in Spain, specifically Valencia. One great friend of mine which is a DJ in that city mentioned to me once, the ''Ruta Destroy'' or Famously known as ''Ruta del Bakalao'' as pioneer of this type of mixing. But to be honest with you, not 100% sure if it was born there. However after so many years they still use this technique.
Now, today we can see that only few BIG DJs use it. You can tell that FUSE Label crew, most of them use it, and they're really experienced on it. For example you can look at Sebzito or Richie NxT even the beast East End Dubs which is one of my favorite DJs Ever.

This set is so good, it flows perfectly, it is hard to find a decent dj set these days. I put this on and could not turn it off. Absolute quality.
