Just beautiful. True pain felt, written over scribe to the tribe! God to not have truly been in love and lost this love, is a sorry thing. Go find love if you haven't.
Beautiful. Just absolutely beautiful. This song takes me back to my childhood, with my best friend who would later be my wife use to listen to a lot of Dio. I couldn't believe a girl loved Dio. This is one of those rare gems that accidentally started playing at an important time in our lives. I have no doubt that my wife and Dio are hanging out together. I'm so jealous, 😊
If I understood correctly, I offer my condolences. Although it seems like you might not need them seeing the way you reflect on your wife. I'm happy that a love like yours exists and I'm sure that Dio and your wife are rocking out. It's actually hard for me to bring myself to listen this song as it evokes feelings so sublime they're rather hard to bear. It reminds of a dream I've grasped many a time, but never gotten a hold of.
This kind of melancholy, deeply touching, soulful music is exactly why I am infatuated with the '70s. The decade seems to have produced the best music I have ever found, and I've listened to hundreds of songs in my lifetime. Nothing compares to old music. It’s too bad I’m only 22, so I was not able to experience a decade with real music and emotion-a time when people and life actually made sense; a time that seemed so real, authentic, and full of passion, love, peace, and connections.
Mom used to play this song when I was a wee lad. Didn't understand music then but somehow I loved the song. Still love it to this day. One of the few good memories I have of childhood.
What gets missed so many times is the exceptional compositional skills of Blackmore ….he composes tunes with a depth and sense of melody well beyond most guitarists …..

hi. We must love all music as it has to offer to our hearts. However mind that almost every musical hit you listen nowdays is written and produced by top level musicians. The singers are another part of it. Some are good some are just big booty. Try to listen to pop/dance music (screw that trap shit that still comes from badass root rappers like Dj Premiere 2pac etc) and isolate the music and the rhythm section. Be prepared for a surprise
Que banda!! Que temazo!! Unos tragos y unos cigarros en soledad. Lo que se pierde la juventud de ahora por no escuchar rock 🙏. Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷🤘
this is the song of my life i guess. every time i feel that void in me, i always play this. and yesterday night was also. it was almost 4 am and i was on my way home after spending my time at a bar where i always go to. i was pretty sleepy so i was dozing off on the bus. when i woke up i realized that i missed the station that i had to get off at. then, i got off and started to walk home. i was wearing my earphones. and i dont know how or when i did this but this song was playing on loop. probably i just played it when i took the bus and fell asleep. and i am actually pretty surprised about this fact because i didn't know that i want to play this song at the times that i'm drunk. so, yeah. every time i hear this song, i feel like someone is singing for me a lullaby to relieve my pain. i really treasure this song's existence. thank you for allowing me to fall asleep in peace after crying.
This song is the summer breeze I long for. Mountains I remember. Friends I miss. Moments I regret. My wish to cry....to truly feel the emotions this song deserves. I miss the world I never experienced and the world I did. Dio was in those worlds. He still lives in this music but goddamnit...it’s not the same! His soul lives but damn do I ever wish his flesh as well. This is art. It transcends genres and it’s beauty is universal. It solidifies my belief that music is not subjective, but TASTE is. Those who can’t appreciate this song are just straight up wrong and I pray for their souls, no matter how good they are otherwise. Power unto Dio and may you be among the holy choirs of those up high
This is one of my absolute favorite songs, especially by them. Why can't musicians make music like this today? I'm only 22 and I couldn't tell you the name of one popular song today. I will always and forever continue to listen to art such as this.
This song made me want to learn how to play the flute. Started lessons, loved it. Like many other things I've loved, I left it halfway. 24 years ago. The song remains part of me
Album closer, This song made my mother cry in 1995 when my sister was going away to college....autumn.. It must have been the "summer nights colder... now....they've taken down the faire " line and I understand it 20 and 30 years later Great stuff.
Made me cry. Songs don’t usually make me cry. Beautiful song. Rest in peace Ronnie James Dio.

This song and stairway are two of the most beautiful songs ever created
Exactly !
90% of which is the vocallist...
How about melodies and harmonies? 10%?
These days you have to scream, growl or bark to get attention from rock/metal fans.
Lordi do that very well...but in a good way...some of their stuff is brilliant.
i always listen to this song when i want to feel happy. i absolutely adore it with its wonderful arrangement! it just gives you that elated feeling inside :)
My dear Ronnie we miss you...what a song soft and moving
The most beautiful song that has ever been written... Pure poetry
명곡을 감상하는 이순간 행복합니다..
Listened to it first as a teenager.. well never got over it since.. Thanks Ronnie and Ritchie
I m 19 and listen to all these legends. I absolutely refuse nowadays' music cause I think it s shit made only for making money out of people that know nothing about music...I feel so uncomfortable with today s music...I love Elvis, the Pink Floyd, the Dire straits and I could go on and on until tomorrow, may god bless the real MUSIC
I'm just another 19yo living he same thing... Believe me, there's a lot of people like us, who deny modern music. At least the mainstream part of it.
I congratulate both of you...
I am of the same opinion with you
Be prepared for a surprise
dude go thru my playlist

Bravo there should be more like you
Great Richie. Great Dio(RIP). great song....
Que banda!! Que temazo!! Unos tragos y unos cigarros en soledad. Lo que se pierde la juventud de ahora por no escuchar rock 🙏. Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷🤘
RIP Lemmy and Dio, both were legends. 😞
this is the song of my life i guess. every time i feel that void in me, i always play this. and yesterday night was also. it was almost 4 am and i was on my way home after spending my time at a bar where i always go to. i was pretty sleepy so i was dozing off on the bus. when i woke up i realized that i missed the station that i had to get off at. then, i got off and started to walk home. i was wearing my earphones. and i dont know how or when i did this but this song was playing on loop. probably i just played it when i took the bus and fell asleep. and i am actually pretty surprised about this fact because i didn't know that i want to play this song at the times that i'm drunk. so, yeah. every time i hear this song, i feel like someone is singing for me a lullaby to relieve my pain. i really treasure this song's existence. thank you for allowing me to fall asleep in peace after crying.
+Kristen Young ive got the same love of music and I’m 19 ;) the next generation of rockers will live on!
Congratulations for your musical taste!
I'm only 3 years old and i love rainbow
I'm rhombus years old and rainbow the most 19 band ever.
I'm not born yet, but i still enjoy listening to Rainbow ( R.J. Dio ) .
Deeply emotional! I love it ❤️💯
very emotional....
Absolutely beautiful ! ♫
Ronnie had an amazing range . He could south a baby in one song but rattle your bones in another . Simply amazing
Dio Forever *_*
When I hear this song, I feel like crying a river
Truly a work of art 🌈
Really a gem of a slow song....up there with the best ever
That song can make a stone cry… truly masterpiece ❤
Perfect album closer. Perfect album overall.
That song is brilliant
If rock singers were as well thought of as tenors then Dio would be the Pavarotti of them all. Awesome just Awesome
Beats the fuck out of any opera singer for his vocal range...tho I'd liked to have seen a Dio/Pavarotti duet.
Thank you Ronnie !
This song made me want to learn how to play the flute. Started lessons, loved it. Like many other things I've loved, I left it halfway. 24 years ago. The song remains part of me
when i listen this song remember his. He was a great frontman and good man. We miss you master
So good and emotional music ,thank You Mr. Blackmore and Mr.R.J.Dio
Который раз слушаю, душу греет
Album closer, This song made my mother cry in 1995 when my sister was going away to college....autumn.. It must have been the "summer nights colder... now....they've taken down the faire " line and I understand it 20 and 30 years later Great stuff.
