I'm doing this song for UIL this year and it's been almost 2 weeks of work, one of our previous UIL judges visited and told us that we already sounded so much better than other schools :D All there is to do now is just smoothen the song out and learn the other two pieces.
I’m confused- At my school, we don’t have that- But, our band was divided into two separate groups - purple and gold. Purple band is for people who are failing at least one class, doesn’t play their music, or doesn’t behave in class- Gold band plays harder music and for people who pass their classes and stuff- Could you explain kinda what honor band is?
@@ghostdude8855 I am in honor band and it's like an advanced class. In my school, there are three levels to the band courses. Beginning, when you have no idea what you're doing and you are just starting out. Intermediate, where you know the basics and are capable of playing harder things, but you still need some assistance. Then advanced/honor band, when you basically know what you're doing COMPLETETLY and know how to play on higher levels. It just means you're a higher level of band. You're more experienced because at least in my school, you have to take band for 3 years to be in the honor band class. It's like the Gold band class you described, but less on behavior and passing and more on experience.
