I just caught both parts 1 and part 2 of your layout updates. You can see all the work that was put into getting to this point. Looking forward to seeing the progress in 2024.
Stunning layout! Love every part of it. Nice to see homage to the Southern Pacific. My father was an Executive Officer with them. Incredible company that was a world leader at its time to many offshoot companies. He was charge of the communications department at the time they created a company called Sprint. His team and engineering group led to the creation of the SPCC company. Later sold and to become Sprint.
The model railroad looks very cool, really like the bridges over the Calumet river. The locomotives are nicely weathered. Have fun, that’s what it’s all about.🚂🚂😎
Very nice and well thought out layout. Thank you for your very steady camera work. It makes watching the video much easier. I can't tell you how many layout tour videos I click off of because of shaky video footage.
Again amazing work you have completed with this layout. All the areas on this layout are fantastic work. Would love to be at an Opp day/night. Great work Mike HO from Australia
May I ask where you got that CEFX 992119 reefer box car? I work on the reefers at the Belt Railway and BNSF for those cars all the time but can’t find any with the Thermo King reefers on them. All I ever find are Carriers. Love the layout!!
Beautiful layout, I especially like your RR paint scheme. May I suggest that you put a power serge unit in the receptacle that is controlled by your master switch? Even if you have a whole house serge protector you need one for the electronics. Check it out.
Thank you. I do have a surge protector plugged in the outlet that runs behind the “display panel” and everything gets plugged in to that. Great recommendation!
The background Warehouse is made from a couple Walthers Part # 933-4071 Modern Concrete Warehouse Background Buildings. The silos/tanks are from the Walthers Part # 933-3081 Plastic Pellet Transfer Facility.
Hi i need some help with HO track with a diameter of track. I have a 30" board and I track to the find the diamante of track to fit on my table. Please advise. Thanks.
It’s gotta be an endless challenge for model railroaders these days to be really prototypical. Almost every freight car I see today has graffiti on them. Really all of them!
👏👏👏. The layout is coming along real nicely!!

Really nice work
I'm looking at this, and " The L&N don't stop here anymore " came to mind. Great layout.
My mind when you said that: the old union pacific doesn't come by here very much anymore..
Excellent presentation and beautiful layout, ty for sharing

This layout is amazing! I definitely need some of the TRRA SD60I's, they look so good!
Thanks! The coloring on the TRRAs seems a little off to me. They are a shade too much of pink :(

Some nice working going on :) ? Who makes the Wagon loader at the industrial sand plant.
if i had this layout i wouldn't be able to ever leave the room
It’s tough!
Great looking layout! Are you cold storage background buildings / silos kit bashed or scratch built?
The background Warehouse is made from a couple Walthers Part # 933-4071
Modern Concrete Warehouse Background Buildings. The silos/tanks are from the Walthers Part # 933-3081
Plastic Pellet Transfer Facility.
How do you get in touch with the guy that did the weathering on ur locomotives? I would send some of mine his way to be done.
Are you on Facebook?

What scale are the vehicles?
HO Scale - 1/87

Yep! Luckily I don’t mind deviating from the prototype.
@@modeltrains_365 The nice thing with decals you can find with graffiti on them is scale isn’t as critical. Decals on freight cars come in all sizes.
I thought I recognized Shawns work. I have several of his items myself. Too bad hes such an asshole these days. I would have had him do more.
