It really helps sometimes to have a great or a perforated platform to lay down the rug on while you spray it. It allows all of the dirt and debris to Fall away from the fabric a lot more easily than on a flat surface where it's trapped underneath when hosing from above
It's to make it cool looking on video. If he was doing it how he normally does, then he'd rinse it out better to start with. SURELY using the rotary tool with all that shit still in the rug would grind the grit into the fibers like sandpaper?
