He is actually a lot better than his numbers show. He was playing through injuries his freshman year. They say he’s almost as good as Jalen green when they played together in high school. They were both 5 star recruits coming out of high school.

This is exactly why these 5 star recruits should be able to get drafted straight out of high school. In no world should a 19 yr old kid who demonstrates a good jump shot, athleticism, and size be a projected second round pick. People overthink the draft process.

Agreed however if we are to discuss political matters of the NBA, the purpose of at least one year of ncaa basketball is so players can understand things like finances, maturity, marketing and network. Jordan stayed in college for 3 years and when he came into the league he injured his foot, ready to compete but walking on thin ice when it comes to marketing. College players would all benefit if they stood for more years however the risk of injury is something they would rather happen in the end state which is the NBA Rather then college. If prospects know they are league worthy, they want as much health and youth to be spent on possible longevity given to the Association.

What am i missing that makes this kid a "mock draft" second round pick. I don't see that, I think he ranks much higher. Again i say this to say I'm only watching clips and that's not the way to judge a player. Wonder whats not to like about him.
Yea he’s definitely first round material idk why mocks have in the second but his main weaknesses are his play making, shot selection, and some bad defensive habits. He’s a great scorer and has a lot of defensive potential
So there's question on being a team player, defense and questionable shots. He's still late first material though because once he fixes the mental stuff he'll be a tremendous player
because he’s EXTREMELY inconsistent. some games he was missing 12+ shots and his on ball defense is questionable
