- I believe I always lived the greatest love story, but even the most beautiful stories have their horrid chapters. 7 long years I found myself constantly chasing after something that I thought was my soul mate. I attempted to give my heart away many times within that duration, and realized It was impossible because someone else still had it. During those years I saw it as an opportunity to bettering myself as a man, and all the traits I thought that she deserved, after all she deserved a superman. In the end no transformation into any man could sway her back in my arms. Me being so stubborn and determined never stopped me. As many of you know I always fought what I believed in. Never give up on something you love..
but when do you stop being defeated? When does the self humiliation end? Is this worth the pain?
I then realized the simplistic brutal truth that I knew was there the whole time, and didn't want to accept it. It's not going to happen. It's not going to work out. It's not worth it anymore. I held on when she let go a long time ago. It just wasn't meant to be. Today marks a really big moment for me. As hard as it is I know I have to.
It's my turn to let go.
In the end the people that do matter will always be there for you. That's the real love. I now see that this wasn't my greatest love story. My greatest love story is yet to be told, and I'm excited to tell it with whoever it may be.

You can't say I didn't try lol. I haven't felt this happy since the day I met you, which is in 4 days. Happy Anniversary? haha but seriously, thank you so much for this journey. You are the real reason why I'm living my dream. You are the real reason why I'm the man I am today. I'd spend lifetimes trying to repay you. Well, at least you know that there is one man out there capable of loving you so much. I thank God for allowing me to share such an experience with a woman so beautiful. I know I cried when I saw the draft of just the dance, but the full product had me literally with no words... in addition to more tears. The greatness I see in the human condition is to be able to be humiliated, but use that energy as the motivation to become an even better person. I have always believed that people can learn from their mistakes, no matter how much they've fallen. If one can learn, one can be happy and live on. I'm happy for you Brian.
okay. i cried reading the description. i cried watching you dance. i cant even explain to you how strongly i feel you. ive been hurt before. and pulled myself together and told myself i deserved better. and then thought i found a soul mate. everything was magic. and then somehow things changed, and he told me he fell out of love with me. he fell out of love with me. i used to tell him he was the reason i believed in love. and now im single. after everything its hard to believe things get better. but theres always beauty in life. and your story isnt over yet. dancing helps a lot too :) smile hun. you wear it well :)

Judging from all of Brian's videos, it seems like he is on that constant journey to find true love. I like how his choreography resonates with me and it makes me feel what he is showing through his dancing. It's quite incredible.

that was literally the most touching thing i have ever seen. I havnt seen a performace that felt that real in such a long time....honored to have even just watched that. let alone getting to take class from these amazing men a week ago...blessed to have expierenced such art

Brian, you have no idea how much your choreo has meant to me the last few months. I hate to say it, but I was in the same exact position. Every video that you've come out with ever since stuck on stupid, brought me to tears. Your choreography and your descriptions hit me hard. I watched this video while i was in class and had to walk out. I broke down. I was at a dark place, and this piece truly spoke to me. Thank you Brian, for opening my eyes and my heart. You're right, it's time to let go.

None of choreographies I saw in my life have changed my perception about what is dance. This is not my style, but I think you are dance. I wish I could take my heart and put it on the dancefloor when everybody is watching. I were on your class only once, but even if it's not style I like, don't matter. I'm a french canadian dancer and my english is not very good, but i just want to say that you inspire me a lot! Dance is not just movements, it is a feeling, something that you have in you and a good dancer can tell you a story when he dances. And you are so amazing! all day I try to just relax and listen to my body, and it helps I feel more in control, feel like i can now tell a story like you! Hope I will meet you someday!

In a way this situation kind of reminds of The Great Gatsby. You already know what you want to do in life but there's that one person that motivates you above and beyond to be better. To not only be better for yourself but for them as well because you feel this connection that's almost unreal. And some time the only reason for that connection is to make you better and nothing more. This was absolutely beautiful! Keep it going!
