A wretched, horrible and unimaginably terrifying way to die--- ninety-nine poor men, slowly suffocating on carbon dioxide in the claustrophobic pitch black darkness, freezing bitter cold, inundated with condensation running down the inside wall of the almost vertical pressure hull; interminable waiting, waiting, waiting; Waiting for the sounds of rescue that will never come. It was the weekend, and everyone that is needed has gone home. How very British. Ninety-nine souls lost through careless workmanship and a "scandalous comedy of errors". +NEVER FORGET+
The THETIS in my book of ships is said to have bolus who owned the ship it sank by some compartments filling up with water that compartment was compartment 5 it was in contact with the sea/ocean.
